How to maintain your evaporative cooler?
Maintenance Schedule
TYPE FREQUENCY
Changing the water Weekly 1
Cleaning the tank Monthly 1
Cleaning the filter screen (black) Monthly 1
Cleaning the cooling pads Quarterly 1
*Please note in more dusty environments the above schedule may need to occur on a more frequent basis.

Cleaning the Cooling Pads and Filter Screens
Please ensure the unit is turned o and unplugged from the power source.
1. Remove the filter screens from the air inet louvre - 2 from the back & 1 from each side (4 screen filters)
2. Use a screwdriver (philips head) to unscrew the screws from the rear & side air inlet louvres.
3. Using a brush, lightly dust the screen filters & wash it down with a hose.
4. Hold the cooling pad (air inelt louvres) & wash it down with a hose.
Do not use a high pressure water hose as it may cause damage to the cooling pads
Do not use detergents or soap to clean the cooling pads

Cleaning the Water Tank
Please ensure the unit is turned o and unplugged from the power source.
1. Drain the water by releasing the drainage valve at the bottom of the unit.
2. Remove the rear air inlet louvre by using a screwdriver (philips head) to unscrew the 6 screws.
3. Rinse the inside of the tank with a hose and wipe it down with a cloth.
Do not use a high pressure water hose

General maintenance
Please ensure the unit is turned o and unplugged from the power source.
1. Reguarly check the power lead & plug for any damages. If damaged contact Fanmaster.
2. Reguarly check the castors are functioning correctly.
3. Wipe down the outside of the unit with a dry cloth.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DO ANY ELECTRICAL WORKS.
