Thank you for purchasing an Ouber by Fanmaster evaporative air cooler. Please read
this instruction manual carefully before using this appliance.

• NEVER USE THE APPLIANCE WITH WET HANDS OR WHEN THE POWER CABLE IS WET.
• CHILDREN SHOULD BE SUPERVISED TO ENSURE THAT THEY DO NOT PLAY WITH THE APPLIANCE.
• THE APPLIANCE IS NOT INTENDED FOR USE BY PERSONS (INCLUDING CHILDREN) WITH

THE FAN AND COULD LEAD TO INJURY.

• DO NOT PLACE BURNING APPARATUS NEAR THE APPLIANCE AS IT MAY CAUSE CARBON
MONOIDE POISONING. PRECAUTIONS MUST BE TAKEN TO AVOID THE BACK FLOW OF GASES
INTO THE OPEN FLUE OF GAS OR OTHER FUEL BURING APPLIANCES.
• IF THIS APPLIANCE WILL NOT BE USED FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME, DRAIN THE WATER AND
DRY OUT BY USING THE FAN ONLY FUCTION TO COMPLETE DRY THE COOLING PADS.
• BORE OR HARD WATER IS NOT RECOMMENDED WITH THIS APPLIANCE.
• THIS APPLIANCE IS TO BE USED FOR INDOOR USE.
• DO NOT PLACE THE APPLIANCE CLOSE TO WALLS, CURTAINS AND OTHER MATERIAL AS IT WILL
RESTRICT THE AIR INTAKE.

2. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION & SPECIFICATIONS
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Industrial Portable Evaporative Air Cooler. Utilises the natural prcoess of using
evaporation to the cool the air. Uses a low wattage water pump to circulate water
from the water tank on to three cooling pads, which in turn becomes very wet. The
fan draws air from outside the unit through the damped pads. As it passes through the
pads the air is cooled by evaporation.

3. GETTING TO KNOW YOUR APPLIANCE - CONT

• Position the appliance so it stands upright & is on a rm surface.
• Fill the tank with clean water (bore or hard water is not recommended)
via the manual inlet or connect to the water inlet valve for continuous water
supply.
• Connect the plug to the relevant power source.
• The appliance will be in standby mode.
• Press the ON/OFF button to turn on or off.
• Press to select cooling mode. You will hear the water pump working and
water will start to rise and be distributed over the cooling pads. Once the pads
are saturated the fan will start. If there is no water, the water pump will not turn
on. If the water runs out during operation, the water pump will automatically shut
off and the fan will continue to operate.
• For fan only option, press to turn fan mode.
• There is a water level sensor that works inline with the water oat valve that
controls the water level and water ooding. On the LCD screen it will show the
warter level bar , when there are no bars showing it means there is no water,
a low water level alarm will go off.

Remove the appliance from the carton. If the appliance is damaged, please
contact Fanmaster or where you purchased the appliance from.

5. CLEANING, MAINTENANCE & STORAGE
Regular inspection and cleaning reduces the neccessity for maintenance operations
and will keep your appliance in good working condition.
RECOMMENDED SCHEDULE

• Please note dusty/dirty environments will need to be checked on a more regular
basis.
• Bore or hard water is not recommended for this appliance.
If the replacement of the power cord or plug is necessary, this has to be done by
Fanmaster or agent or qualied persons as authorised by Fanmaster in order to avoid
a safety hazard.
CLEANING THE COOLING PADS & FILTERS
1. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws from the air inlet louvre
2. Pull out the lter for the air inlet louvre
3. Hold the cooling pad and/or the lter and wash it down with a hose.
CAUTION:
DO NOT USE a high pressure hose or appartus as it may cause damange to the
cooling pads or lter.
DO NOT USE detergents or soap to clean the cooling pads or lter.
PLEASE ENSURE THE APPLIANCE IS TURNED OFF & UNPLUGGED FROM THE
POWER SOURCE BEFORE ANY MAINTENANCE OR SERVICE WORK

CLEANING THE WATER TANK
1. Open the water outlet valve (on the bottom of the appliance) to drain out all the
water from the tank.
2. Remove the screws from the air inlet louver then remove louver.
3. Use a cloth or soft brush to wipe the inside of the tank.
4. Rinse the inside of the tank.
5. Use a cloth to dry the inside of the tank.
CLEANING THE OUTSIDE OF THE APPLIANCE
1. Use a soft cloth to wipe down the appliance
CAUTION:
DO NOT USE detergents or solvent
STORAGE
• When not in use please store in a clean environment.
• Please ensure the water tank is completely drained.
• Please ensure the cooling pads and lters are completely dry. Run in Fan only for
10 minutes.

Our goods come with guarantees which cannot be excluded under the Australian
Consumer Law. You are entitled to replacement or refund for a major failure and
to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also
entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable
quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Exclusions: This warranty does not cover:
• Any defects caused by an accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation or
operation, lack of reasonable care, unauthorized modication, loss of parts,
tampering or attempted repair by a person not authorized by the distributor.
• Any product that has not been installed, operated or maintained to a
satisfactory level.
• Any damage caused by improper power input or improper cable connection.
