READ THIS DOCUMENT BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Thank you for purchasing this heavy duty cart. When
properly assembled and maintained, this product will
provide years of reliable service. These instructions
include helpful hints and important information needed to
safely assemble and properly maintain the cart. Please
read these instructions before you begin.
If you have any questions during the assembly, contact
customer service for assistance.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• Do not use the cart if any part is broken or damaged.
• This cart is not a toy. Do not allow children to use the
cart.
• Do not use on inclines; cart may tip or roll away.
• Do not overload the cart! Maximum load rating:
Cart #110486: 1,750 lbs.
Cart #110488: 2,000 lbs.
• Inflate tires with ambient air only. Never use a
flammable gas to inflate the tires.
• Inflate tires to the proper level as indicated on the
tires.
• Never allow riders on the cart.
• Exercise caution when loading and unloading the
cart. Place all loads evenly on the cart bed. Center
loads on the bed to prevent tipping. DO NOT STACK
HEAVY LOADS ON THE END OR SIDES OF THE
BED!
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
• Periodically check nuts and bolts to verify they are
tight and secure.
• Clean the cart using water and mild soap. Rinse with
water sprayed from a garden hose.
• Inspect all cotter pins (if equipped) and verify they
are in position, secure, and in good condition.
• Check tire pressure and adjust to recommended
pressure if needed.
REQUIRED TOOLS
The following list identifies the main tools needed for
assembly. For easier assembly, an assistant is needed.
• Flathead screwdriver
• Metric and standard wrenches
• Ratchet and socket set (standard and metric)
• Pliers
• Drill and 3/8" drill bit (may not be needed)
UNPACK AND IDENTIFY PARTS
The following steps will ensure that you have all the
necessary parts before you begin.
1. Unpack the contents of the shipment and place
where you can easily inventory the parts. Compare
the shipped parts with those shown at the bottom of
each page of these instructions.
2. If anything is missing or you have questions, contact
customer service.

The following steps show how to assemble the
undercarriage.
1. Slide the connecting shank into the front axle
assembly, align the mounting bolt holes, and
insert a 3/8" x 2-1/2" bolt.
2. Add a 3/8" flat washer and 3/8" locknut.
3. Slide the rear axle assembly onto the
connecting shank, align holes, and insert a
3/8" x 2-1/2" bolt. Secure using a 3/8" flat
washer and 3/8" locknut.
4. Verify that the undercarriage is assembled
as shown. Axles should be fully visible and
positioned up.
5. Tighten the fasteners using a ratchet and
socket and wrench. Bolts should be snug.
6. Continue by attaching the undercarriage to the
cart bed.

2 ATTACH UNDERCARRIAGE TO
THE CART BED
5/16" x 2-1/4"

Complete the following steps to attach the
undercarriage to the cart bed.
NOTE: Position the cart bed so you can access all
sides.
1. With assistance, lift and place the
undercarriage onto the cart bed. Insert one
5/16" x 2-1/4" bolt through the cart bed
support and undercarriage.
NOTE: If mounting holes are slightly
misaligned, use a drill and a 3/8" bit to enlarge
the holes.
2. Slide one flat washer over the bolt.
3. Add one locknut. Do not tighten at this time.
4. Repeat Steps 1-3 for the remaining three (3)
bolts and tighten all bolts. Bolts should be
snug. To prevent damage to the bolts, do not
overtighten.

For cart #110486, begin with Step 1. For cart
#110488, skip Step 1 and begin with Step 2.
1. Take one spacer and slide it onto the axle.
2. Take one wheel, position the valve stem to the
outside, and slide the wheel onto the axle.
3. Slide one flat washer over the axle.
4. Add the locknut. (For cart #110488, insert the
cotter pin and bend to secure the wheel on the
axle. Continue with Step 6. Cotter pin and
wheel are not shown.)
5. Using a socket and ratchet, tighten locknut
until snug.
6. Repeat the steps as needed to attach all
remaining wheels. Verify that all valve stems
are to the outside.
7. Check tire pressure in all tires. Adjust as
needed.

4 ATTACH HANDLE EXTENSION
Some carts may ship with the handle extension
and the handle connected. Review the following
procedures and complete those that apply to your
cart. Complete the following steps to attach the
handle extension to the undercarriage:
1. Slide the handle extension into the steering
yoke.
2. Align the holes and insert the 5/16" x 2-1/4"
round-head screw.
3. Add the nut and tighten.
NOTE: The handle extension should move
freely. Tighten or loosen the bolt to achieve
the desired result.
To use the cart without the handle, connect
the extension to the hitch of a lawn tractor.

5ATTACH HANDLE TO
HANDLE EXTENSION
Attach handle to handle extension to complete
the cart assembly:
1. Slide handle onto handle extension.
2. Align holes of the handle with the handle
extension.
3. Use pin and clip to attach handle to the
handle extension. Use a pliers to grip the
clip if needed.
NOTE: To prevent damage and possible
injury, never stand on the handle assembly
or cart bed.
Cart can be used with or without a handle.
Remove the handle as needed to connect
the cart directly to a lawn tractor.
