This hose reel is endowed of:
Spring rewind system
Spring ratchet to lock the hose to the desired length
Re-entry limiter to stop the run preventing the total re-entry of the hose

This manual of instructions constitutes an integral part of product and it has to be edited by the
end user for every possible future consultation. It contains important informations about the safety
use of the product.
Usage destination.
This tool and its accessories, must only be used for the purpose for which they have been
conceived. A different use from that one suitable could cause damages to people, animals or
responsible for possible damages caused by improper, wrong and unreasonable uses, as,for
example, the un-observance of the safety instruction, the use of no original accessories and
operation not authorized on the product.

When using the tool always follow the following safety instructions to reduce the risk of personal
injury:
Always wear safety glasses with side protection in accordance with current regulations.
Use protective gloves when using the tool in accordance with current regulations.
Before each use, check the integrity of the tool in its entirety. Replace damaged or worn parts
immediately.
Maintain a steady and balanced body position during work.
Never use the tool under the influence of drugs, alcohol or when you are tired. A moment of
inattention during use can cause serious personal injury.
Keep children away from the work area.
Make sure the hose reel is installed correctly before connecting the inlet and outlet hoses.
Before carrying out any maintenance on the hose reel, empty the pressure in the system.
Before connecting the hose reel to the feed line, make sure that the pressure does not exceed
the maximum rated working pressure of the hose reel.
Low pressure is also very dangerous and can cause serious personal injury or death.
If a leakage occurs in the hose or hose reel, immediately remove the system pressure.
If the hose reel ceases to wrap, immediately remove the system pressure.
Never pull the hose.
Never tamper with the hose rewinding device.
Do not use the automatic hose reel in environments containing potentially explosive
atmospheres.
Never direct the compressed air hose towards yourself or other people. Compressed air can
cause serious personal injury.
Always check that the supply hoses and fittings used comply with the specifications in the
technical table in this manual. Too high pressure may cause the hose reel to malfunction and
can cause serious personal injury.
Never bend or tighten the hose.
Never use solvents and protect the hose from heat, oil and sharp parts.
Make sure the clamps are always well fixed on the hoses.
Never breathe in the air that escapes directly from the hose as it may contain dangerous
substances (oil, metal parts, etc.)
Any repair of the hose reel must only be carried out by professionally qualified personnel. Use
only original spare parts recommended by the manufacturer.

INSTALLATION OF THE HOSE
REEL
This hose reel can be installed on the wall or on the ceiling. You will need to purchase appropriate hardware
for a good fixing of your new hose reel. Install the hose reel up to 3 meters from the floor.
The end part of the tube must be connected to the desired compressed air source. Connect the other part
of the hose to the desired tool or fitting.

This hose reel must be used at a maximum pressure of 20 bar and must always be supplied with clean air
and without condensation.
Adjust the length of the hose according to your needs: this hose reel is equipped with a spring rewind system
with automatic locking system.
Extract the hose manually by pulling it up to the desired length. The spring ratchet will be activated in specific
points of extraction of the hose. The hose will be blocked by the stop system.
To rewind the hose, pull the hose slightly so that the automatic ratchet release activates. Always accompany
the hose during the rewinding phase.
DISPOSAL INFORMATIONS
When the hose reel is no longer usable nor repairable, dispose it according to the local regulations in order
to protect the environment.

This product complies with the provisions of the following European directives and related harmonized
standards:
Machinery directive 2006/42/EU: EN ISO 12100
WARRANTY
This tool is guaranteed to be free of manufacturing defects and materials, for normal service use, for a
period of one year from the date of purchase of the tool.
If during this period there are any defects attributable to the manufacturer on the tool, the company
Fasangas S.r.l. will act, at its discretion, by repairing the tool or replacing with another of equal value and
features at no cost to the purchaser. The warranty does not cover consumables and / or components subject
to particular wear and tear caused by improper or incorrect use of the tool or in any case not compliant with
the details in this manual. The warranty right lapses if the instrument has been tampered with by personnel
not authorized by Fasangas S.r.l.
Products without warranty rights will be repaired at the customer's total expense.
