with the pressure adjustor.
- ake sure that the Auto-Stop function is working as it should. Before starting work allow
compressor to reach maximum pressure. If the Auto-Stop does not work, switch off and check the

- The compressors working pressure is the figure indicated on the pressure gauge when a tool is in
use. This figure will differ with each different airbrush used. An airbrush with a larger nozzle will
use more air than one with a smaller nozzle. Always check the air requirements of any tool before
using it for the first time.
- The bottom of the regulator filter is a water release valve, use this at any time to release any
moisture build-up.
General Sa ety Instructions
- Users must choose the correct air compressor, with suitable air flow and pressure, for the tool and
work requirement.
- Before connecting the compressor, check the main voltage is compatible with the compressor
motor.
- This compressor has suction pad feet. These are design to stop the compressor from sliding
around on a flat, level surface only and are NOT intended for using on angled or vertical surfaces.

- You UST inspect plugs, sockets, power leads and any other connectors for wear or damage.
- You UST have any worn or damaged plugs, sockets and power leads replaced immediately
upon discovery.
- You UST ensure that the risk of electric shock is minimised by the installation of appropriate
safety devices.
- A Residual Current Circuit Breaker (RCCB) should be incorporated in the main distribution board.
- If no RCCB is fitted, use of a Residual Current Device (RCD) is strongly recommended. If you are
unsure, speak to a qualified electrician and have an RCCB fitted if necessary.
- RCDs are available from most electrical retailers.
- The Electricity at Work Act 1989 requires that all portable electrical appliances, if used on
business premises, to be tested by a qualified electrician, using a Portable Appliance Tester

- Ensure that cables are always protected against short circuit and overload.
- Regularly inspect power supply cables and plugs for wear or damage and check all connections
to ensure that none is loose or damaged.
- Ensure that the voltage rating of the compressor matches your power supply and that the plug is
fitted with the correct fuse.
- Do not yank the plug from the socket as can cause damage to both plug and socket. Any
damage to plugs or sockets is potentially lethal.
- Never carry any electrical tool by it’s power lead.
- If you are using an extension reel, ensure that it is fully unwound and that an RCD is fitted. A
minimum cable core of 1.5mm2is recommended although a core of 2.5mm2will ensure that heavy
loads can be handled. Your extension reel needs to be marked for outdoor use if working outside.
- When the ASTA/BS approved UK 3 pin plug is damaged, cut the cable close to the plug and
dispose of the it safely. Fit a new plug according to the following instructions;
1: Connect the GREEN/YELLOW earth wire to the earth terminal
‘E’.
2: Connect the BROWN live wire to the live terminal ‘L’.
3: Connect the BLUE neutral wire to the neutral terminal ‘N’.
4: After wiring, check that there are no bare wires, that all wires
have been correctly connected, that the cable outer insulation
extends beyond the cable restraint and that the restraint is tight.
The plug fitted to this compressor is fitted with a 13amp fuse.
Double insulated products, which are always marked with this symbol are fitted with live
(brown) and neutral (blue) wires only. To rewire, connect the wires as indicated above but DO NOT
connect either wire to the earth terminal.
