1. Positioning the toms
- Make sure that the toms are tilted slightly towards you. This pre ents frequently hitting the edges of the
toms.
- Make sure there is a horizontal distance of 1 to 5 cm between Tom 1 and Tom 2.
2. Positioning the snare
- place the snare at a ertical distance of about 12 to 15 cm from Tom 1. Ideally, the snare should be
positioned almost exactly underneath Tom 1.
3. Positioning the Hi-hat
- Place the Hi-hat cymbal at a ertical distance of about 20 cm from the snare.
. Positioning the Hi-hat pedal
- The Hi-hat pedal belongs directly underneath the Hi-hat cymbal, exactly like an acoustic drum kit.
Locking the Hi-hat and Kick drum pedal
You can use the Hi-hat and Kick drum pedal on different surfaces. Depending on the surface, we recommend
the following:
Use on a smooth surface (laminate, wooden floor, vinyl, stage, etc.)
Make sure that the pedal grip pins are fully retracted. This pre ents the floor
from getting scratched.
The pedals ha e a rubber anti-slip layer so they can be used on smooth
surfaces.
Turn the grip pins counter-clockwise until they're past the rubber anti-slip
layer. Do not turn them too far, or they may come loose.
Use on a soft surface (carpet, felt, drum mat, etc.)
Turn the grip pins clockwise to extend them for extra grip on the surface.
The length depends on the type of surface.
To pre ent the pedals from sliding, it is recommended to keep your heel on the
pedal as much as possible while drumming. By applying some pressure with
your foot, the pedal is less likely to slide.
Adjusting the Kick drum beater
The Kick drum beater can be adjusted as desired. The included beater has both a plastic and a felt side.
Please note, with regular use, the felt beater may lea e behind small felt fibres in the kick drum mesh head.
Make sure the beater hits the exact centre of the mesh head (horizontally and ertically) for the best
response. When using a double kick drum pedal, use the point between the two beaters as the reference for
the centre.
Adjusting the mesh head trigger
On an acoustic drum kit, you can change the pitch of the drums by loosening or tightening the heads. The
mesh head triggers on this kit are equipped with standard tuning mechanisms.
Tightening the mesh heads of this electronic drum kit will only affect the playability and sensiti ity of the
sensors. It will not affect the pitch.

The mesh heads ha e been tightened in ad ance, and only need correcting if necessary. When tightening,
always work diagonally across the head, as you would with an acoustic kit.
If you ha e are not familiar with this procedure, please contact your dealer or a specialist for more
information and/or help. Tightening the heads too much could result in permanent damage.
Tightening the knobs
All tightening knobs, with the exception of the mounting points that are tightened and loosened with the
included drum key are designed to be tightened by hand.
Tightening the knobs too much may result in damage to the plastic components, which can cause distortion.
Damage caused by o er-tightening is not co ered by the warranty.
