Hz).
2. It is necessary to use a device for the automatic interruption of the power supply in
case of failure, which is to be coordinated with the machine's electrical system. For
more detailed information, contact a trusted electrician.
3. The mains power outlet should be bipolar grounded (10/16 A, 250 V), extension cables
must have sections that are the same or greater than the sections of the power cable
of the machine.
4. The power supply cable (and its possible extension cable) should never come in contact
with hot objects, sharp edges, wet or oiled surfaces.
5. The power cord should be checked regularly and before each use to check for signs of
damage or wear. If these are not in good condition, replace the cable.
6. Do not use the power cord to lift the machine or to remove the plug from the socket.

11.The double attachment tube (G) can
now be inserted into the hole of the
vacuum (Figure 16).
Figure 16 - Mounting the attachment tube
The machine is now fully assembly. For operation the vacuum has to be moved next to the
woodworking machine to which it will be connected. This operation is facilitated by the the
swivel wheels positioned under the base.
Loss of stability
Place the chip collection vacuum on a solid, strong, flat and horizontal surface to prevent it
from falling over.
Installation of the machine
Do not install the machine outdoors to prevent damage to the bags, the electrical control
circuit and loss of functionality.
The machine can not be used alone but must be connected, via a suitable tube to a
woodworking machine.

5.2 Suction tube assembly
The chip vacuum is connected, via a suction tube (of suitable diameter), to one or two
woodworking machines or other machinery that discharges sawdust and/or wood chips that
must be collected.
If it is connected to only one machine, attach the end of the chips
exhaust tube to a vacuum inlet (ref. I) while the other is closed
with a cap (ref. II).
Figure 17 – Suction tube
coupling.
If instead, the chip vacuum is connected to two machines, the chip discharge tube for the
first machine will be inserted into an inlet on the vacuum and the chip discharge tube of the
second machine will be inserted into the other inlet on the vacuum.
Suction hose installation
Do not install the suction pipe with the motor running; in addition, for added safety,
remove the power plug from the mains socket.
Do not insert or place your hands or other objects near the suction duct of the machine.
Do not cut, break or modify the suction duct grille.
5.3 Connecting the plug and test start
1. Insert the power supply plug into a grounded double pole socket (10/16 A, 230 V).
2. Start the machine by pressing the start button and make
sure that the direction of rotation of the fan is as indicated
by the arrow on the protective casing (Figure 18).
3. Make sure the bags and the suction tube are properly
attached and above all that they remain in a stable position.

6 CONTROL SWITCHES
The switches are located on the body of the vacuum, under the emergency button cap which
can be opened. They are used to turn the chip collection vacuum on and off.
6.1 On switch (start)
The green button (I), is used for starting (turning on) the chip
vacuum (Figure 19). By pressing this button, the electric motor
connected to the fan is powered.
Figure 19 – Close-up of
the buttons.
6.2 Stop button
The red button (0), is used for switching off (stopping) the chip
vacuum (Figure 20). By pressing this button, power to the
electric motor is switched off and the fan stops rotating.
Figure 20 – Close-up of
the buttons.
NOTE:
NOTE: Given the reduced overall size of the machine, the
off button is also an emergency stop button. Therefore,
during use, keep the lid ("cap") lowered and, in the event
of an emergency, press the red button on the lid itself
(Figure 21).

7 OPERATION
The chip vacuum is a very easy machine to use. After connecting the power plug and the chip
suction tube(s), the machine is ready for use.
First turn on the chip vacuum, by pressing the green button (Figure 19) and then the
woodworking machine. After use turn off the machine and then the vacuum. To switch on the
woodworking machine, follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Machine operation
The chip vacuum should be used coupled with one or two woodworking machines (or similar)
to collect the sawdust and chips produced by the latter during processing.
7.1 Emptying the chip collection bag
To empty the bag (or bags, in the event the chip vacuum is connected to two woodworking
machines), stop the woodworking machine (or machines) by following the relevant operating
instructions and then the vacuum by pressing the red button (Figure 20) and wait for all the
machines to come to a complete stop.
Unhook the strap securing the bag which is full of chips and then remove the bag and empty
it.
For assembly proceed in reverse, first putting the bag in position, then attaching the strap
tightening thoroughly.
