The H-rail mounting 1is intended for mounting the manifold rail 5on an
H-rail 2.
2. Assembly notes
Warning
Beware of electric shock and uncontrolled movements of components;
they can result in injuries.
Only mount and/or dismount in an unpressurised state and ensure the
power supply is switched off.
Caution
Beware of uncontrolled movements of components;
they can result in injuries.
Avoid vibration/shock; these are not permissible for this type of mount-
ing.
Mount the manifold rail 5(incl. the valve manifold 3) only onto a hori-
zontally mounted H-rail 2using the H-rail mounting 1.
Fasten the H-rail mounting 1with the clip (A) pointing downward so the
manifold rail (incl. the valve manifold 3) still hangs in the H-rail even
when the mounting 1is loosened.
Avoid overloading of the H-rail mounting 1, that is, do not attach addi-
tional loads to the valve manifold 3.
Observe the technical data in our catalogue
(www.festo.com/catalogue).
3. Permissible manifold rails 5and screw sizes 4
Select the corresponding screw length for the screw 4dependent on the
manifold rail used 5.

4. Assembly
14443d_3
Mount the H-rail 2only
horizontally.
14443d_4
Place the mounting 1with
the clip (A) pointing down-
wards on the manifold
rail 5.
Fix the mounting 1in place
with the screws 4by screw-
ing them in half a turn.
14443d_5
Hang the hook (B) of the
mounting 1in the H-rail 2.
Tilt the valve manifold 3
downwards until the clips (A)
engage.
14443d_6
Tighten the screws 4. Ob-
serve the permitted tighten-
ing torque.
Note
When the screw 4is
tightened, the mounting 1
tilts. As a result, the parts are
wedged together and an
optimal hold is achieved.
Make sure that the mount-
ing 1is not straightened.

5. Disassembly
Caution
Caution when the screws 4are loosened!
When the screws 4are completely unscrewed during disassembly, the
manifold rail 5can fall down together with the valve manifold 3.
Make sure that disassembly is performed as follows:
Remove all connections to the valve manifold 3.
14443d_7
Unscrew the screws 4a
maximum of 2 turns.
14443d_8
Tilt the valve manifold 3
upwards until the clips (A)
disengage.
14443d_9
Carefully lift the valve mani-
fold 3forward.
