About
Cosmo is a unique, customisable bluetooth switch that!
(a) works with the Cosmo iOS app to give access to numerous
training and learning activities.
(b) provides single or multiple switch access to devices such as
laptops, mobile phones and tablets running that are Bluetooth LE
compatible and run iOS, OS X, Windows, and Android, Linux
operating systems.
Usage within the EU
This product can be used across EU member states.

Please use chargers using 0.5 to 1 Ampere. Use only mains USB
chargers and avoid charging the Cosmo devices on you
computer or other electronic equipment as this might cause
defects.
Battery Charging
The Cosmo Switch is powered by an internal rechargeable
battery. Charge the Cosmo Switch to full power before using.
To charge:
1. Select appropriate wall adapter for your region.
2. Insert micro USB portion of wall charger into the micro USB
charging jack on the Cosmo Switch and plug wall adapter
into wall outlet.

3. While charging the switch will have a dimmed orange colour.
When fully charged the switch will have a dimmed green
colour. !
Setup for using the Cosmo switch with the Cosmo app
1. Turn the Cosmo switch on in Cosmo mode. Keep the power
button at the bottom of the devices pressed for 1 second. The
device lights up white.
2. Start the Cosmo app. On your iOS device, download the
Cosmo Training app. You can find it at https://
itunes.apple.com/gb/app/cosmo-training/id1150386521?
mt=8, or by searching for Cosmo Training at the appstore.
Create an account and log-in. Your Cosmo should connect
immediately. To ensure your cosmo device is connected go to
the Advanced Settings in your iOS device
3. To turn offyour Cosmo device, keep the power button at the
bottom of the devices pressed for 3 seconds. The device lights
are turned off.
4. If your device is in HID mode and you want to bring it to the
Cosmo mode, keep the power button pressed for 7 seconds.
Your device will turn offand restart, lighting up in white. Then
follow step 2 above."
Setup for using the Cosmo switch as a Bluetooth controller
1. Turn the Cosmo switch on in HID mode. Keep the power
button at the bottom of the device pressed for 8 seconds,
until the device starts blinking.
2. Select the character you want to use. Press the power
button once to change the colour of the Cosmoid and the
respective character. The list of colours/characters can be
found at the bottom of the page. Once you reach the
character you want to use, keep the power button pressed for
two (2) seconds. The Cosmo switch will turn offand turn back
on automatically, in the colour/character you selected.
3. In your device’s (computer, phone, tablet) Bluetooth® settings
select!
COSMO HID.####.### where ### is the serial number on the
device and click “Pair”.
4. Set up any settings for switch access within the app you will
be using with your Cosmo switch.
5. The Cosmo switch is now ready for use with your device and
app.
6. To use the Cosmo Cosmo switch with another (computer,
phone, tablet) device, you will first need to un-pair them. To
do that, go to your device’s (computer, phone, tablet)
Bluetooth® settings, select the Cosmo switch you want to un-

pair using the Cosmo serial number on the switch and click
“Unpair” or “Forget”(exact terminology depends on your
operating system).
Note: If your app does not work with your selected HID character,
try another character. If you cannot find which character works,
contact your app developer to determine the keystrokes being
used.
Sleep Mode
After 30-minutes of inactivity, the Cosmo Switch will go into sleep
mode. To wake from sleep mode, activate the Cosmo switch by
pressing its power button and wait approximately 7-seconds for
the Cosmo Switch to re-pair with your device.
