READING AND STORING THE USER MANUAL
Before using this product, please read through this manual
carefully paying particular attention to the safety instructions.
Failure to do so may result in personal injury or damage to the

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed.
Only use the product as described in this user manual. Any other use is
considered improper and may result in damage to property or persons.
The manufacturer or vendor cannot be held liable for damages or injury
incurred through improper or incorrect use.
•Read and familiarise yourself with all operating
instructions before using this 4 Litre Air Cooler.
•Before plugging your unit into the mains, visually check
that the unit is intact and has not suffered any transit
damage.
•Check that the voltage indicated on the data plate
corresponds with that of the local network before
connecting the appliance to the mains power supply.
•The level of the water tank should not be over the “MAX”
or under the “MIN” mark at any time when cooling.
•DO NOT turn the appliance upside down, if it is knocked
over and there is water in the tank, it should be unplugged
from the mains immediately.
•Empty the water tank when the appliance is not being
used or placed into storage.
•DO NOT knock or shake the appliance whilst in use.
•DO NOT use this appliance with wet hands.
•Clean the water tank out regularly to avoid silting up.

•Never leave this appliance within reach of children.
•DO NOT use this appliance in the immediate surroundings
of a bath, shower or swimming pool.
•DO NOT use this appliance with a programmer, timer,
separate remote-control system or any other such device.
•Unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning.
•WARNING disconnect the appliance from the mains
before removing the Air Filter or Cooling Pad.
•This appliance can be used by children from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understands the hazards involved. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without supervision.
•Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless
continuously supervised.
•Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only
switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been
placed or installed in its intended normal operating
position and they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from
3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate
and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
•DO NOT immerse the appliance or its cord in water or any
other liquids.
•DO NOT leave the appliance unattended during use.
•DO NOT leave the appliance unattended whilst connected
to the mains supply.

•Always use this appliance on a solid, level, surface.
•DO NOT use this appliance outdoors.
•It is imperative to unplug the power cord after the
appliance has been used, before it is cleaned and whilst
being repaired.
•Repairs to electrical appliances should only be performed
by qualified personnel. Improper repairs may place user at
serious risk.
•DO NOT operate this appliance with a damaged plug or
cord, after a malfunction or after being dropped or
damaged in any way.
•Regular, periodic checks should be carried out on the
mains cable to ensure no damage is evident. Should there
be any signs of damage the appliance should not be used.
•If the power cable is damaged, it should only be replaced
by qualified personnel in order to avoid a hazard.
•DO NOT allow the mains cable to hang over sharp edges
or come in contact with hot surfaces.
•DO NOT run the mains cable under carpets, rugs, etc.
•This appliance is intended for household use only and
should not be used for industrial purposes.
•DO NOT use any accessories or attachments with this
appliance other than those supplied or recommended by

Setting up your 4 Litre Cooler
1.Remove all the packaging and dispose of responsibly.
2.Lay the appliance on its back (place a soft cloth or towel underneath to prevent
any damage to the unit).
3.Push the Castors (9) into the base of the cooler.
4.Place the unit upright onto its castors in a suitable, solid, level position.
Operating Instructions
Insert the mains plug (with dry hands!) into
the nearest socket.
Fan Only Mode
To operate the unit in fan only mode prese either the Low (14), Med (15) or the
High (16) Fan Speed buttons to select the desired speed of the fan.
Press the OFF button (13) to switch off the fan.

Swing Mode
Press the Swing button (17) to enable the Air Louvres (7) to move from side to
side to spread the air flow horizontally over a larger area of the room. Use the two
Vertical Airflow Adjusters (4) to adjust airflow vertically up and down.
Cooling Mode
1.Rotate the retaining catch upwards and pull out the Water Tank (8) from the
rear of the cooler and fill with it water. Do not fill the tank beyond the ‘MAX’
mark using the Water Gauge (10) on the front of the unit.
2.Check the water level during use and ensure that it does not fall below the ‘MIN’
mark on the Water Gauge (10) and top up if necessary.
3.To enhance the cool function, fill the Ice Bottles (11) and freeze them in the
freezer. Once frozen, place one ice bottle in the Water Tank (8) to cool the
water further. Two ice bottles are supplied so that one can be in the water tank
cooling the water whilst the other is being frozen and then swapped over when
the one in the tank has defrosted.
4.Press the Cooler button (12) and press either the Low (14), Med (15) or the High
(16) Fan Speed buttons for cool air output.
5.Press the OFF button (13) to switch off the fan.
DO NOT operate in the cooler mode without water in the Water Tank (8)
otherwise permanent damage may occur to the unit.
6.Empty the Water Tank (8) after use and during storage by placing the cooler
onto a sink drainer, carefully remove the Water Tank from the cooler and pour
out any remaining water into the sink.

Care and Use of your 4 Litre Cooler
•Ensure that the cooler is not connected to the mains supply before cleaning.
•Wipe the outer case clean with a clean, soft damp cloth; do not use detergents
or harsh abrasives.
•Remove the two screws from the top rear of the Air Filter (2) on the rear of the
unit with a suitable posidrive screwdriver (not supplied) and remove. Prise out
the Cooling Pad (3) from the Air Filter (2) as below:
•Wash the Air Filter (2) and Cooling Pad (3) in warm soapy water; remove any
debris using a soft brush. Leave them both to dry thoroughly before replacing.
•Wipe the water tank clean with a clean damp cloth.
•Do not immerse the appliance or its cord in water or any other liquids.

Non-Wireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-wireable plug fitted to the mains lead and
should the fuse need replacing, you must use an ASTA approved one (conforming
to BS 1362 of the same rating). If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you. If you need to remove the plug –DISCONNECT
FROM THE MAINS –and then cut it off the mains lead and immediately dispose of
it safely. Never attempt to reuse the plug or insert it into a socket outlet as there is
a danger of electric shock.

Disposal of the Packaging
Dispose of paper and cardboard in appropriate paper re-
cycling facilities.
Dispose of recyclable plastics in appropriate plastic re-cycling
facilities.
