2、Refer to figure 3, open the 1/4 turn fastener on the back of the
control panel, and draw back the lamp
holder.
3、Refer to figure 4, To disassembly the
lamp, loose the poles of the lamp with a
screwdriver from the socket, then pull
out two poles one by one respectively.
4、Refer to figure 5, To install the lamp,
Aim two poles of the lamp to the
matched socket in advance (Ensure the
direction of lamp’s nipple toward the
socket), then push two poles into the socket synchronously.
5、Lift the lamp holder so that lamp is level with the center of the
reflector. Push the lamp holder straight in until it seats, make sure
the lamp passes through the reflector opening. Lastly lock the
1/4-turn fasteners.
6、Note: avoid any damage to lamp, during changing or installing
lamp, do not touch reflector and spare parts around.
Lamp adjustment
1、Switch on the fixture, and allow it to
reset. Using either a controller or the
lighting console, turn on the lamp and
project an open white beam on a flat
surface.
2、Using a 6-angel 3mm screwdriver to
UP-DOWN adjust the lamp until the
light spot focus in the center of light
beam vertically.
3、If there is big light spot, turn the top IN-OUT
adjustment screw counterclockwise until the light is evenly
distributed. If the light is brighter around the edge than it is in the
center, or if light output is low, turn the top adjustment if the light is
brighter around the edge than it is in the center, or if light output is

low, turn the top IN-OUT adjustment screw clockwise until the
light is bright and evenly distributed.
AC Power supply
Warnin! For protection from electric shock, the
fixture must be earthed. The AC mains supply
shall be fitted with a fuse or circuit breaker and
ground-fault protection.
Important! Check up the power supply before
connecting with the fixture.
Fuses
NOTE! Install the appropriate fuses in the holders near the power
switch.

FINE 2000/2500 BEAM green energy mode
The fixture provides the function of auto lowdown power consumption.
When dimmer is off or CMYfilters overlapped entirely up to more than
5 seconds, amp power will low down 50%. That can prolong the lamp
life and protect the filters and save power.
Power connection
Warning! Type Y power supply connection. If the external flexible
cable or cord of this fixture is damaged, it shall be replaced by a
special cord or cord exclusively available from the manufacturer or his
service agent in order to avoid a hazard.
Check the transformer or ballast frequency consitensy with local
power. Wrong installation of the fixture may cause hot damage.
100/120V power supply is not applied for FINE 2000/2500M.
Important! Connecting FINE 2000 with main power supply
directly, do not connect with the dimmer machine in order to
avoid any damage to the fixture. There is a 3-pin socket supplied
by the factory, correctly connect it with power supply as following
table: yellow/green wire is for earthing, if you have more query,
please ask for help of experienced electrician.
Set base switch to“I” position when power is supplied.

Data
Important! Never exceed 1 data input and 1 data output connection.
FINE 2000/2500BEAM has 3-pin connector and 5-pin connector for
DMX input and output, pin 1 is for earth connecting, pin 2 is for
negative pole connecting and pin 3 is for positive pole connecting.
Fixtures connection
Use shielded twisted-pair cable designed for DMX512 devices:
standard microphone cable cannot transmit control data reliably
over long runs. 24 AWG cable is suitable for runs up to 300
meters.A DMX512 amplifier is recommended for longer runs.
Never use two outputs to separate the link. You may use
DMX512 amplifier to separate the serial link into branches.
Do not overload the link. There are 32 devices totally can be
connected on a serial link at most.
Terminate the link by installing a termination plug in the output
socket of the terminal fixture. The termination plug, which is a
male XLR plug with a 120Ω, 0.25W resistor soldered between
pins 2 and 3, soaks up the control signal so it does not reflect
and cause interference. If a signal distributor is used, please
terminate connection among all links.
Data connection
1、Connect the DMX data input from the controller to the FINE
2000 3-pin input (male) socket.
2、Using the sockets that match your data cable, connect the
output of the fixture closest to the controller to the input of the
next fixture.
3、Insert a male 120Ω XLR termination plug in the 3-pin output
of the terminal fixture on the link.

Rigging
FINE 2000/2500 BEAM can be stamped to a truss in any orientation.
The fast-lock system enables quick and easy fastening of the clamp
brackets in 4 positions as shown in Figure 8.
Figure 8: Clamp bracket positions
Warning!
Warning!Always use 2 clamps to fix the fixtures. The 1/4 turn
fasteners lock in position when turned fully clockwise. The fasteners
are locked only when turned fully clockwise. Attach an approved
safety wire to the attachment hole in the base. Never use the carrying
handles for secondary attachment.
Clamping the fixture to a truss
1. To inspect that the truss hooks are in good condition and can bear
about 10 times the weight of the light unit. Ensure the truss or
pipe structure can bear 10 times the weight of all the equipment
including lights, truss hooks, cables and accessories.
2. Lock each clamp securely to a clamp bracket with a 12M bolt and
lock nut.
3. Install a clamp points in the base. Insert the fasteners into the

- 14 -

base and turn the two levers a full 1/4 turn clockwise to lock.
Install the second clamp.
4. If the truss can be lowered, fixtures can be clamped on directly
from flight case. If the fixture must be lifted, block should be put
under the working area. Working safely from a stable platform,
hang the fixture on the truss with the arrow towards the area to be
illuminated. Tighten the rigging clamps.
5. Install a safety wire that can bear at least 10 times weight of the
fixture. The attachment is designed to fit a clamp.
6. See to it that the horizontal and vertical locks have been unlocked.
Ensure there are no explosive or inflammable materials 1 meter
around the fixture.
Controlling panel
LCD control panel is used to set the address and particular features.
DMX address and setting
The DMX address named as the start channel, it is used to receive
instructions from the controller, and it is an independent control. If two
fixtures working in the same way, address sharing can be useful for
diagnostic purposes and synchronous control, particularly when

combined with the inverse pan and tilt rotation.
Refer the menu control on the Users manual to fixture personnel
setting.
FINE 2000/2500 BEAM function description
Color
The color mixing system uses continuous dichroic cyan, magenta,
and yellow (CMY) color filters. It is a subtractive system that removes
color from white light. Inserting all three filters results in loss of light;
for maximum brightness, mix 2 colors at a time.
Gobo
A gobo wheel with six changeable image pieces.
Dimmer and shutter system
0—100% electric dimmer, timely open and blackout. Frequency is up
to 10Hz, random and variable frequency make dimmer open and
slowly dims or closed and slowly opens.
Color temperature correction
The color temperature correction (CTC) system uses a continuous
0-178 mireds color filter that lowers the color temperature from 6000K
to 2900K.
