1. Fold the movable locking mechanism into the unlocked position, parallel to My Safe
Block’s main body, and slide back toward the handle, (Figure A).
2. My Safe Block has a metal tab bent at a 90-degree angle located at the end furthest from
the handle. Open the door you wish to protect and insert the tab completely into the your
door jam’s strike plate. For doors with the strike plate to the right, point the tab to the right
and position it at the bottom of the strike plate, (Figure B). For doors with the strike plate
to the left, point the tab to the left and position it at the top of the strike plate, (Figure C).
Two adhesive shock absorbing protective pads have been included with your My Safe Block
to protect your door and trim from potential scratches. To apply, peel off the protective
backing from pads and place adhesive side in the positions on the locking mechanism
shown in Figure D.

My Safe Block Universal Door Blocker is a portable security device that works on most
standard doors with a knob or lever. It is ideal for additional security and privacy in
most residential and commercial doors - hotels, apartments, college dorms, vacation
accommodations and more. To ensure the proper performance of your product, please
read and save these instructions.

3. Once the tab is inserted completely into the strike plate, carefully close your door while
holding My Safe Block in place.
4. Slide the locking mechanism as close as possible toward the door with its ‘teeth’ engaged
with My Safe Block’s main body.
5. Fold the locking mechanism down so it is perpendicular with My Safe Block’s main body,
preventing unwanted intruders from opening the door, (Figure D).
6. To disengage, fold the locking mechanism back to the unlocked position, slide back toward
the handle, and open the door.
1. My Safe Block works with most standard residential and commercial doors with a knob/
lever, bolt/latch, face plate and strike plate.
2. My Safe Block is intended for doors without lock or deadbolt but can always be used as
“back-up” protection for doors with locks and deadbolts. Always use a door’s integrated
locking system when possible as its primary lock method.
3. We are not responsible for user related damage incurred during installation.
4. To clean, wipe with a damp cloth.

FLIPO GROUP warrants to the original purchaser, when used in North America only, that this product
shall be free of defects in material and workmanship. This warranty applies within 30 days of the
original purchase with normal home use. This warranty does not apply for commercial use of this
