We congratulate you on the purchase of your new
device. You have chosen a high quality product. The
instructions for use are part of the product. They
contain important information concerning safety,
use and disposal. Before using the product, please
familiarise yourself with all of the safety information
and instructions for use. Only use the unit as de scribed
and for the specified applications. If you pass the
product on to anyone else, please ensure that you
also pass on all the documentation with it.
Intended use
The tool - normative sabre saw - with fixed stop (shoe)
is intended for cutting wood, plastic and building
materials. The tool is suitable for rough saw cuts,
straight or curved cuts, and flush surface cuts. Used
with the holding bracket the tool is suitable for cut-
ting branches. Please note the information on saw
blades and instructions on sawing. Any other use
or modification of the tool is deemed improper use
with serious risks. The manufacturer is not liable for
damage caused by improper use. The tool is not in-
tended for commercial use.

The vibration level specified in
these instructions was measured in accordance with
an EN 60745 standardised measurement process
and can be used to compare tools. The vibration
emission value specified can also serve as a prelim-
inary assessment of the exposure.
The vibration level will change according to the
application of the power tool and in some cases,
may exceed the value specified in these instructions.
Regularly using the power tool in such a way may
make it easy to underestimate the vibration.
Try to keep the vibration loads as low as possible.
Measures to reduce the vibration load are, e.g.
wearing gloves and limiting the working time.
Wherein all states of operation must be included
(e.g. times when the power tool is switched off and
times where the power tool is switched on but run-
ning without load).
General safety advice for
electrical power tools
Read all the safety advice
and instructions! Failure to observe the safety
advice and instructions may result in electric shock,
fire and/ or serious injury.
Keep all the safety advice and instructions
in a safe place for future reference!
The term “electrical tool” used in the safety advice
refers to electrical tools powered by mains electricity
(by means of a mains lead) and electrical tools pow-
ered by rechargeable batteries (without a mains lead).
1. Workplace safety
a) K eep your working area clean and wel l
lit. Untidy or poorly lit working areas can lead
to accidents.
b) Do not work with the device in poten-
tially explosive environments in which
there are inflammable liquids, gases o r
dusts. Electrical power tools create sparks,
which can ignite dusts or fumes.
c) Keep children and other people away
while you are operating the electrical
tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control
of the device.
2. Electrical safety
a) The mains plug on the power tool (or
on the power supply) must fit the mains
socket. Never modify the plug in any
way. Never use adapter plugs with
earthed power tools. Unmodified plugs
and the correct sockets reduce the risk of elec-
tric shock.
b) Avoid touching earthed surfaces such
as pipes, radiators, ovens and refrig-
erators with any part of your body.
There is an increased risk of electric shock if
your body is earthed.
c) Keep the device away from rain or
moisture. Water entering an electrical device
increases the risk of electric shock.
d) Do not use the mains lead for any pur-
pose for which it was not intended, e. g.
to carry the device, to hang up the de-
vice or to pull the mains plug out of
the mains socket. Keep the mains lead
away from heat, oil, sharp edges or
moving parts of the device. Damaged or
tangled mains leads increase the risk of elec-
tric shock.
e) When working outdoors with an elec-
trical power tool always use extension
cables that are also approved for use
outdoors. The use of an extension cable suit-
able for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric
shock.

f) Use a residual current device (RCD) for
protection if operating the electrical
power tool in a moist environment is
unavoidable. The use of an RCD reduces
the risk of electric shock.
3. Personal safety
a) Remain alert at all times, watch what
you are doing and always proceed
with caution. Do not use the device if
you are tired or under the influence of
drugs, alcohol or medication. One mo ment
of carelessness when using the device can lead
to serious injury.
b) Wear personal protective equipment
and always wear safety glasses. The
wearing of personal protective equipment such
as dust masks, non-slip safety shoes, safety hel-
mets or ear protectors, appropriate to the type
of electrical power tool used and work under-
taken, reduces the risk of injury.
c) Avoid accidental starting. Verify the po-
wer tool is switched off before connec-
ting it to the mains and/or connecting
the battery, picking it up, or carrying it.
Accidents can happen if you carry the device
with your finger on the ON /OFF switch or with
the device switched on.
d) Remove any setting tools or spanners
before you switch the device on. A tool
or spanner left attached to a rotating part of a
device can lead to injury.
e) Avoid placing your body in an unnat-
ural position. Keep proper footing and
balance at all times. By doing this you will
be in a better position to control the device in
unforeseen circumstances.
f) Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear
loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your
hair, clothing and gloves clear of mov-
ing parts. Loose clothing, jewellery or long
hair can become trapped in moving parts.
g) If vacuum dust extraction and collection
devices are fitted do not forget to
check
that they are properly connected and
correctly used. The use of these devices
reduces the hazard presented by dust.
4. Careful handling and use
of electrical power tools
a) Do not overload the device. Always
use an electrical power tool that is
intended for the task you are under-
taking. By using the right electrical power
tool for the job you will work more safely and
achieve a better result.
b) Do not use an electrical power tool if
its switch is defective. An electrical power
tool that can no longer be switched on and off
is dangerous and must be repaired.
c) Pull the mains plug out of the socket
and/or remove the rechargeable bat-
terybefore you make any adjustments
to the device, change accessories or
when the device is put away. This pre-
caution is intended to prevent the device from
unintentionally starting.
d) When not in use always ensure that
electrical power tools are kept out of
reach of children. Do not let anyone use
the device if he or she is not familiar
with it or has not read the instructions
and advice. Electrical power tools are dan-
gerous when they are used by inexperienced
people.
e) Look after the device carefully. Check
that moving parts are working prop-
erly and move freely. Check for any
parts that are broken or damaged
enough to detrimentally affect the
functioning of the device. Have dam-
aged parts repaired before you use
the device. Many accidents have their origins
in poorly maintained electrical power tools.
f) Keep cutting tools clean and sharp.
Carefully maintained cutting tools with sharp
cutting edges are less likely to jam and are
easier to control.
g) Use the electrical power tool, accesso-
ries, inserted tools etc. in accordance
with these instructions and advice, and

the stipulations drawn up for this par-
ticular type of device. In doing this, take
into account the working conditions
and the task in hand. The use of electrical
power tools for purposes other than those in-
tended can lead to dangerous situations.
5. Use and handling of the cord-
less electrical power tool
a) Charge a rechargeable battery unit
using only the charger recommended
by the manufacturer. Chargers are often
designed for a particular type of rechargeable
battery unit. There is the danger of fire if other
types of rechargeable battery units are used.
b) Only the rechargeable battery units
supplied are to be used with an elec-
trical power tool. The use of other recharge-
able battery units may lead to the danger of
injury or fire.
c) When they are not being used, store
rechargeable battery units away from
paperclips, coins, keys. nails, screws
or other small metal objects that could
cause the contacts to be bridged. Short-
circuiting the contacts of a rechargeable battery
unit may result in heat damage or fire.
d) Fluids may leak out of rechargeable
battery units if they are misused. If this
happens, avoid contact with the fluid.
If contact occurs, flush the affected area
with water. Seek additional medical
help if any of the fluid gets into your
eyes. Escaping battery fluid may cause skin
irritation or burns.
CAUTION! DANGER OF EXPLOSION!
The batteries must never be recharged!
6. Service
a) Have your device repaired at the ser-
vice centre or by qualified specialist
personnel using original manufacturer
parts only. This will ensure that your device
remains safe to use.

To prevent the risk of injury and fire, as
well as health hazards:
Hold the tool by the insulated handles
when performing work where the tool
may hit hidden electrical wires. Contact
with a live wire could cause metal parts of the
tool to become live and lead to electric shock.
Use suitable detectors in order to searc h
for hidden supply lines, or consult your
local power authority. Contact with elec-
tric lines can lead to fire and electric shock.
Damage to a gas line can result in explosion.
Breaking a water line causes property damage.
Keep you hands away from the area
of the saw blade. Do not grip the un-
derside of the work piece. Contact with
the saw blade may result in injury.
Keep hands away from the lifting rod
and the quick-action blade clamp. Con-
tact with components poses a crushing risk.
Always switch on the power tool be-
fore placing it against the work piece.
There is also the risk of kickback if the power
tool becomes caught in the work piece.
Be sure the guide plate touches the
work piece when sawing without
holding bracket. The saw blade could c atch,
resulting in losing control over the power tool.
After finishing work switch off the
power tool and only remove the saw
blade from the cut once it has stopped.
This will prevent kickback and allows you to
safely put down the power tool.
Only use undamaged, defect-free saw
blades. Bent or dull saw blades can brake,
negatively impact the cut or cause kickback.
After switching off do not stop the saw
blade by pressing it sideways against
an object. The saw blade could be damaged,
brake, or cause kickback.
Secure the material well. Do not sup-
port the work piece with your hand or
foot. Do not touch objects or the ground
with the saw running. Risk of kickback.

Secure the work piece. Use clamps or a
vice to firmly hold the work piece. This results
in a safer grip than with your hand.
Wait for the power tool to stop before
putting it down. The tool being used could
catch, resulting in losing control over the
power tool.
Lock the on/off switch to the off posi-
tion before working on the power tool
(e.g. maintenance, tool change, etc.),
and when transporting or storing. Risk
of injury if the on/off switch is accidentally acti-
vated.
Protect the power tool from heat, e.g.
also from continuous sunlight, fire,
water and moisture. Risk of explosion.
Wear the dust mask when using the tool.
If the mains power cable of this appliance is
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufac-
turer or its service department, or a similarly
qualified person to prevent hazards.
Safety notices for chargers
Persons (including children) who lack the know-
ledge or experience to use the tool or whose
physical, sensory or intellectual capacities are
limited must never be allowed to use the tool
without supervision or instruction by a person
responsible for their safety. Always supervise
children to ensure they do not play with the tool.
The charger is only suitable for
indoor use.
Working instructions for sawing
Check the material you wish to cut for foreign
objects such as nails, screws, etc. and remove
these.
Immediately switch off the tool if the saw blade
is jammed. Spread the previously cut slit with a
suitable tool and remove the sabre saw.
Saw the material with an even feed motion.
Original accessories/tools
Use only the accessories specified in
the operating instructions. Using tools or
accessories other than those recommended in
the operating instructions could result in injury.
Information about saw blades
You may use any saw blade with 1/2" (12.7mm)
universal shaft. Saw blades in various lengths opti-
mised for any purpose are available from your retailer.
Before using
Removing/charging/inserting
the battery pack
Note: The battery is partly charged at the time of
delivery. Charge the battery before use. Li-Ion bat-
teries can be charged at any time without reducing
the life. Interrupting the charging process does not
damage the rechargeable battery.
1. To remove the battery pack 3press the release
buttons 4and slide the battery pack 3out
of the tool.
2. Insert the rechargeable battery pack 3into
the rapid charger 12 .
3. Insert the mains plug into the mains socket. The
status LED 14 will light up red.
4. The green status LED 13 shows charging is
completed and the battery pack is 3ready
for use.
5. Slide the battery pack 3into the tool.
Checking the battery charge
Press the test button 16 to check the battery
condition (see Fig. A).
The battery LED 15 indicates the condition and
the remaining charge as follows:
RED/ORANGE/GREEN = maximum
charge/ power
RED/ORANGE = medium charge/power
RED = low charge – recharge battery

saw blade
Always wear safety gloves when installing /chang-
ing the saw blade.
Turn the quick-release chuck 8all the way in
the direction of the arrow and keep it turned.
Push the selected saw blade all the way into the
quick-action blade clamp 8.
Release the quick-action blade clamp 8, which
must then return to its original position.The saw
blade is now locked.
Start-up
Switching on and off
Switching on:
Press the switch lock 1.
Press the ON-/OFF switch 5.
Switching off:
Release the ON-/ OFF switch 5.
Attaching/Removing the
holding bracket
Note: The retaining bracket 11 cannot be installed/
removed with the saw blade installed.
Attaching the holding bracket
(see Fig. B–D):
Press the release button 10 .
Slide the holding bracket over the guides of the
shoe 7into the tool.
Lock the release button 10 .
Removing the holding bracket:
Press the release 10 and pull the holding
bracket 11 forward and out of the guide.
Sawing techniques
A) Working without holding bracket
(see Fig. E):
When cutting thicker branches or sawing wood,
plastic or materials, work WITHOUT holding
bracket. The piece to be sawed must touch the
shoe. Use a rocking motion when cutting round
pieces.
A1) Flush cuts:
When using flexible saw blades with the respective
length you can cut protruding pieces, e.g. pipes,
flush with the wall.
1. Place the saw blade directly against the wall.
2. Apply sideways pressure to the sabre saw,
bending it so the foot plate 7touches the
wall sideways.
3. Switch on the tool and saw through the work
piece, applying consistent pressure.
A2) Plunge sawing (see Fig. F):
CAUTION! RISK OF KICK-BACK! Only
plunge saw soft work pieces (wood, etc.).
1. Place the bottom edge of the sabre saw shoe 7
onto the work piece.
Switch on the tool.
2. Tip the sabre saw forward and plunge the saw
blade into the work piece.
3. Straighten the sabre saw into a vertical posi-
tion and continue cutting along the cutting line.
B) Using the holding bracket (see Fig. G):
Move the saw, applying slight downward pressure.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Always disconnect the mains plug from the
socket and remove the battery pack 3before
cleaning.

Always remove the saw blade before working
on the power tool.
Always keep the tool and the ventilation louvres
clean. Clogged ventilation louvres may result in
the tool overheating and/or being damaged.
Clean the tool after finishing work.
Do not allow liquids to enter the tool. Please
use a soft cloth for cleaning the housing. Never
use petrol, solvents or cleaning agents that at-
tack plastic.
Clean the saw blade holder, if necessary using
a brush or blowing out with compressed air.
When storing a lithium-ion battery for extended
periods, regularly check the charge. The optimal
charge is between 50% and 80%. The optimal
storage climate is cooling and dry.
Service
Only have your tool
repaired by qualified professionals,
and only using original manufacturer
parts. This will maintain the safety of the tool.
If the power cable of this tool
is damaged, it must be replaced by the manu-
facturer or its customer service, or a similarly qua-
lified person, to prevent hazards.
Note: Spare parts not listed (e.g. carbon brushes,
switches) can be ordered through our call centre.
Warranty
The warranty for this appliance is for 3
years from the date of purchase. The ap-
pliance has been manufactured with care
and meticulously examined before deliv-
ery. Please retain your receipt as proof
of purchase. In the event of a warranty
claim, please make contact by telephone
with our Service Department. Only in this
way can a post-free despatch for your
goods be assured.
The warranty covers only claims for material and
maufacturing defects, but not for transport damage,
for wearing parts or for damage to fragile compo-
nents, e.g. buttons or batteries. This product is for pri-
vate use only and is not intended for commercial use.
The warranty is void in the case of abusive and im-
proper handling, use of force and internal tampering
not carried out by our authorized service branch. Your
statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this
warranty.
The warranty period will not be extended by repairs
made unter warranty. This applies also to replaced
and repaired parts. Any damage and defects extant
on purchase must be reported immediately after
unpacking the appliance, at the latest, two days after
the purchase date. Repairs made after the expiration
of the warranty period are subject to payment.

Faulty or used rechargeable batteries must be recy-
cled in accordance with Directive 2006/ 66 / EC.
Return the rechargeable battery pack and/or the
tool via the recycling facilities provided.

details of how to dispose of your worn-out tools.

Formålsbestemt anvendelse
Apparatet – normativ en sabelsav – er med fast an-
slag (fodplade) beregnet til savning af træ, kunststof
og byggestoffer. Apparatet egner sig til groft save-
arbejde, lige, buede snit og skiller flader vandret af.
Med monteret holdebøjle er apparatet egnet til sav-
ning af grene. Bemærk informationerne til savklinger
og arbejdshenvisninger til savning. Enhver anden form
for anvendelse eller ændring af maskinen anses for
at være ikkebestemmelsesmæssig og rummer bety-
delige farer for uheld. Producenten fralægger sig
ethvert ansvar for skader som følge af uhensigtsmæs-

til sammenligning af apparater. Den angivne sving-
ningsemissionsværdi kan også benyttes til et indle-
dende skøn af standsningen.
Svingningsniveauet ændrer sig svarende til anvendel sen
af det elektriske værktøj og kan i nogle tilfælde ligge
over den værdi der er angivet i disse anvisninger.
Svingningsbelastningen kan undervurderes, hvis det
elektriske værktøj jævnligt bliver anvendt på en så-
dan måde.

orsøg at hold belastningen så lav som muligt genne m
vibrationer. Eksemplariske forholdsregler til formind-
skelse af vibrationsbelastningen er at bære handsker
ved brug af værktøjet og begrænsning af arbejdsti den.
Derved skal der tages hensyn til alle driftcyklussens
andele (eksempelvis tider, hvor elektroværktøjet er
slukket og sådanne hvor det godt nok er tændt, men
kører uden belastning).
Generelle sikkerhedsinstrukser
for elektrisk værktøj
Alle sikkerhedsinstrukser
og anvisninger skal læses! Forsømmelighed
over for sikkerhedsinstrukserne og anvisninger kan
resultere i elektriske stød, brand og/ eller alvorlige
kvæstelser.
Alle sikkerhedsinstrukser og anvisninger
skal opbevares til senere brug!
Begrebet „elektroværktøj“ der anvendes i sikkerheds-
anvisningerne, relaterer sig til elektriske redskaber
der anvendes med ledning til lysnettet og til akku-
mulatordrevne elektriske redskaber (uden ledning
til lysnettet).
1. Sikkerhed på arbejdsstedet
a) Arbejdsområdet skal være ryddeligt
og have god belysning. Uorden og ube-
lyste arbejdsområder kan være årsag til ulykker.
b) Apparatet må ikke anvendes i eksplo-
sionstruede omgivelser hvor der be-
finder sig brændbare væsker, luftarter
eller støvpartikler. Elektriske redskaber dan-
ner gnister der kan antænde dampe eller støv.
c) Børn og andre personer skal holdes
på afstand når redskabet bliver be-
nyttet. Hvis man bliver afledt, kan man miste
kontrollen over apparatet.
2. Elektrisk sikkerhed
a) Elektroværktøjets (henholdsvis netde-
lens) tilslutningsstik skal passe i stikdå-
sen. Stikket må ikke ændres på nogen
måde. Der må ikke anvendes adapter-
stik sammen med elektroværktøjer der
har sikkerhedsjording. Uændrede stik og
passende stikdåser nedsætter risikoen for elek-
trisk stød.
b) Undgå kropskontakt med jordede
overflader som f.eks. rør, varmeap-
parater, komfurer og køleskabe. Der er
øget risiko ved et elektrisk stød hvis legemet har
jordforbindelse.
c) Apparatet skal beskyttes mod regn og
væde. Hvis der trænger vand ind i et elektrisk
apparat er der forøget risiko for elektrisk stød.
d) Ledningen må ikke benyttes til at bære
maskinen i, hænge den op i eller til at
trække stikket ud med. Ledningen skal
holdes på afstand varme, olie, skarpe
kanter eller dele af apparatet der er i
bevægelse. Beskadigede eller forsnoede
ledninger forhøjer risikoen for elektrisk stød.
e) Til arbejde med elektriske redskaber
under åben himmel, skal der anvendes

forlængerledninger der også er god-
kendt til udendørs anvendelse. Anven-
delsen af en sådan ledning nedsætter risikoen
for elektrisk stød.
f) Hvis det ikke er til at undgå at elektrisk
værktøj skal bruges i fugtige omgivel-
ser, skal der anvendes en fejlstrøms-
kontakt. En sådan forringer risikoen for
elektrisk stød.
3. Personlig sikkerhed
a) Bevar hele tiden opmærksomheden,
pas på hvad De foretage Dem og gå
til værks med det elektriske værktøj
med fornuften i behold. Undlad at
bruge apparatet hvis De er træt eller
under indflydelse af euforiserende
stoffer, alkohol eller medikamenter.
Et øjebliks uopmærksomhed under benyttelse
af apparatet kan føre til alvorlige kvæstelser.
b) Ifør Dem personligt sikkerhedsudstyr,
og bær altid sikkerhedsbriller. Personligt
sikkerhedsudstyr, som f.eks. støvmaske, skrid-
sikkert fodtøj, sikkerhedshjelm eller høreværn,
alt efter det elektriske redskabs art og anven-
delse, nedsætter risikoen for tilskadekomst.
c) Undgå utilsigtet igangsætning. Sørg
for at elektroværktøjet er slukket, in-
den De tilslutter det strømforsyningen
og/eller akkumulatoren, tager og
bærer det. Hvis man har en finger på afbry-
deren eller apparatet er slået til medens det
bliver båret, kan dette have ulykker til følge.
d) Indstillingsredskaber eller skruenøg-
ler skal fjernes før apparatet bliver
startet. Et stykke værktøj eller en nøgle der
sidder i en bevægelig del af apparatet, kan
afstedkomme kvæstelser.
e) Undgå at indtage anormal kropshold-
ning. De skal sørge for at De står sik-
kert og hele tiden er i balance. På den
måde kan apparatet bedre kontrolleres i uven-
tede situationer.
f) Ifør Dem egnet beklædning. Den må
ikke være vid, og smykker skal lægges
væk. Hår, beklædningsdele og hand-
sker skal holdes borte fra bevægelige
dele. Løst siddende beklædning, smykker el ler
hår kan blive grebet af dele der bevæger sig.
g) Hvis der monteres opsugnings- og
opfangsanordninger, skal disse være
sluttet til og anvendes korrekt. Anven-
delse af den slags anordninger nedsætter
faremomenterne som følge af støv.
4. Omhu i omgangen med og
anvendelsen af elektriske
redskaber
a) Undgå at overbelaste apparatet.
Anvend det elektriske redskab der er
bestemt til Deres arbejde. Med det pas-
sende elektriske værktøj er det bedre og mere
sikkert at arbejde i det angivne effektområde.
b) Tag ikke elektriske redskaber i brug
hvor kontakten er defekt. Et elektrisk
apparat der ikke kan tændes eller slukkes, er
farligt og skal repareres.
c) Træk stikket ud af stikkontakten og/
eller fjern akku’en, inden De foretager
indstillinger på apparatet, skifter tilbe-
hør eller lægger apparatet væk oder.
Denne sikkerhedsforanstaltning forhindrer
utilsigtet start af det elektriske værktøj.
d) Elektriske redskaber der ikke er i brug,
skal opbevares uden for børns ræk-
kevidde. Lad ikke personer benyttet
apparatet hvis de ikke er fortrolig
med det eller ikke har læst disse an-
visninger. Elektrisk værktøj er farligt hvis det
benyttes af uerfarne personer.
e) Apparatet skal behandles med omhu.
Det skal kontrolleres om bevægelige
dele af apparatet fungerer fejlfrit og
ikke er fastklemt, om noget dele er
knækket eller beskadiget så appara-
tets funktion er forstyrret. Beskadigede
dele skal repareres før apparatet tages
i brug. Mange uheld skyldes dårligt vedlige-
holdte elektriske apparater.

f) S kærende værktøjer skal holdes skarpe
og rene. Ordentligt vedligeholdte skærered-
skaber med skarpe ægge klemmer sig ikke så
ofte fast og er lettere at føre.
g) Redskabet, tilbehør, udskiftelige dele
osv. skal anvendes i overensstemmelse
med disse anvisninger og sådan som
det er foreskrevet for denne særlige
type apparat. Her skal der også tages
hensyn til arbejdsbetingelserne og den
opgave der skal udføres. Anvendelse af
elektriske redskaber til andre formål end de
angivne kan føre til farlige situationer.
5. Anvendelse og behandling
af akkuværktøjet
a) Batterierne mü kun oplades i appara-
ter der er anbefalet et fremstilleren. Der
er brandfare forbundet med et opladningsap-
parat til en bestemt type batterier, hvis det an-
vendes sammen med andre batterityper.
b) Anvend kun de dertil beregnede bat-
terier i elektriske redskaber. Benyttelse
af andre batterier kan bevirke tilskadekomst
og være forbundet med brandfare.
c) Batterierne skal holdes borte fra
papirklips. mønter, nøgler, søm, skrue
og andre små metalgenstande der
kan forårsage en forbindelse mellem
kontakterne. En kortslutning mellem batte-
ripolerne kan føre til forbrændinger eller ild.
d) Forkert anvendelse kan føre til at der
siver væske ud af batteriet. Undgå
berøring med batterivæske. I givet fald
skylles der af med vand. Hvis De får
væske i øjnene, bør De desuden søge
lægehjælp. Batterivæske kan give irritation
af huden eller forbrændinger.
FORSIGTIG! EKSPLOSIONSFARE! Gen-
oplad aldrig engangsbatterier.
6. Service
a) Deres apparater bør De kun lade re-
parere hos serviceafdelingen eller af
en fagmand og kun med originale re-
servedele. På den måde er der garanti for
at apparatets sikkerhed bevares.
Apparatspecifikke sikkerheds-
henvisninger
til sabelsavning
For at undgå risiko for tilskadekomst og
brand samt helbredsrisici:
Hold fast i apparatet ved de isolerede
grebsflader, når De udfører arbejderne,
hvor indsatsværktøjet kan støde på
skjulte strømledninger. Kontakten med en
strømførende ledning kan også sætte metaldele
under spænding og resultere i et elektrisk stød.
Anvend egnede søgeapparater, for at
opspore skjulte forsyningsledninger
eller inddrag det lokale forsyningssel-
skab. Kontakt med elektroledninger kan føre
til brand og elektrisk stød. Beskadigelse af en
gasledning kan føre til eksplosion. Indtrængen
i en vandledning forårsager materielle skader.
Hold hænderne væk fra saveområdet.
Grib ikke ned under emnet. Ved kontakt
med savklingen er der fare for kvæstelser.
Hold hænderne væk fra løftestangen
og hurtigspændpatronen. Ved kontakt m ed
byggedelene består der fare for at blive mast.
Maskinen skal være slået til når den
føres mod emnet. Der består ellers fare for
et tilbagestød, når indsatsværktøjet hægter sig
sammen med emnet.
Sørg for, at føringspladen ved savning
uden holdebøjle altid ligger slutter tæt
om emnet. Savklingen kan hægte sig sammen
og føre til kontroltab over elektroværktøjet.
Sluk efter afslutning af arbejdsfore-
gangen for elektroværktøjet og træk
savklingen først da ud af snittet, når den
er kommet til stilstand. Sådan undgår De
et tilbagestød og kan lægge elektroværktøjet
sikkert fra Dem.
Anvend kun ubeskadigede og fejlfrie
savklinger. Bøjede eller sløve savklinger kan
brække, have negativ indflydelse på snittet eller
forårsage et tilbagestød.

Brems savklingen efter slukningen ikke
ved at trykke imod fra siderne af. Sav-
klingen kan beskadiges, brække eller forårsage
et tilbagestød.
Spænd materialet godt fast. Støt emnet
ikke med hånden eller foden. Berør
ikke nogen genstande eller jorden med
saven i drift. Der består fare for tilbagestød.
Husk at sikre emnet. Et med spændeind-
retninger eller skruestik fastholdt emne er sikrere
holdt end med deres hånd.
Vent indtil elektroværktøjet er kommet
til stilstand, inden De lægger det fra
Dem. Indsatsværktøjet kan hægte sig sammen
og føre til kontroltab over elektroværktøjet.
Blokér inden alt arbejde ved elektro-
værktøjet (f.eks. vedligeholdelse, værk-
tøjsskift, etc.) samt dettes transport og
opbevaring for tænd-/slukkontakten
i slukket stilling. Ved uhensigtsmæssig be-
tjening af tænd-/slukkontakten består der fare
for tilskadekomst.
Beskyt elektroværktøjet mod varme,
f.eks. også mod konstant sollys, ild,
vand og fugt. Der består eksplosionsfare.
Bær en støvmaske ved brug af apparatet.
Hvis nettilslutningsledningen til dette apparat
beskadiges, skal den erstattes af producenten
eller dennes kundeservice eller en tilsvarende
kvalificeret person for at undgå fare.
Sikkerhedshenvisninger
til ladeapparater
Dette produkt er ikke egnet til at blive brugt af
personer (inkl. børn) med begrænsede fysiske,
sensoriske eller mentale evner eller med mang-
lende erfaring og/eller manglende viden om
anvendelsen, medmindre de er under opsyn af
en person, som er ansvarlig for deres sikkerhed
eller har fået vejledning af denne om anven-
delse af produktet. Børn skal være under opsyn
for at sikre, at de ikke leger med apparatet.
Ladeapparatet er kun egnet til brug
indenfor.
Arbejdshenvisninger til savning
Kontrollér materialet, som skal bearbejdes, for
fremmede dele som søm, skruer, etc. og fjern disse.
Sluk omgående for apparatet, når savklingen
er fastklemt. Udspil den allerede savede spalt
med et egnet værktøj og træk sabelsaven ud.
Sav materialet med konstant fremføring.

ekstradele
Anvend kun tilbehør og ekstraudstyr
der er angivet i betjeningsvejledningen.
Anvendelsen af andre former for udstyr end det
i betjeningsvejledningen anbefalede eller andet
tilbehør kan være ensbetydende med øget risiko
for Dem for at pådrage Dem kvæstelser.
Informationer til savklinger
De kan anvende hver savklinge med 1/2" (12,7mm)
universalskaft. Man kan få savklinger i handlen i
forskellige længder til hvert indsatsformål.
