ELECTRICALSAFETY
•Doubleinsulatedtoolsareequippedwithapolarizedplug(onebladeiswiderthantheother.)Thisplugwill fit
intoapolarizedoutletonlyoneway. Ifitdoes notfitfullyintheoutlet, reverse theplug and tryagain.Ifitstill
doesnotfitfully, contactaqualifiedelectriciantoinstallapolarizedreceptacle. Donotmodifythepluginany
way. Doubleinsulationeliminatestheneedforthe threewiregrounded powercordandgrounded electricalsystem.
•Avoidbodycontacting withgroundedsurfacessuchasradiators,pipes, ranges and refrigerators.Thereisan

whileundertheinfluenceofalcohol, medication,or drugs.Keepfocusingonthe workathandwhileusinga
powertooltopreventpersonalinjury.
•Make surethepowerswitchisinthe OFF”positionbeforepluggingitintothereceptacle.Thiswillprevent
accidentalstarting.Carrying toolswithyourfingeron theswitchorplugging inthetoolswiththe switchinthe ON”
positioninvitesaccidents.
•Removeadjusting toolssuchaswrenchesorkeysbeforeturningthetoolon.A wrenchorkeyleftattachedtoa
rotating part willflyoff and maycausepersonalinjury.
•Donotoverreachwhileoperating apowertool.Keepproperfooting and balanceatall times.Good balance
and solidfootingenablesbettercontrolinunexpectedsituations.
•Alwayswearappropriatesafetyequipment.Always weareye protectionwhileoperating apowertool. Use
appropriatedust respirators, hearing protection,hard-hat, faceshieldorsafetyshoesasdictatedbythe workandtool.
TOOL’S USEANDCARE
•Securetheworkpiecewithclampsorotherpracticalmethodstoprovideasecureworkplatform. Holdingthe
workbyhandoragainstyourbodyisnot secureand mayleadtolossofcontrol.
•Use thecorrecttoolfor thework. Thepropertoolwilldo theworkfasterandsafer.
•Donotusethetool ifthe ON/OFF”switchisnotworking. Operating atoolthat cannotbe controlledbyyou is
dangerousandmust be repaired beforeuse.
•Alwaysdisconnectthepowercordfrom theelectrical receptaclebeforestoring thetool, making adjustments
or adding/replacingaccessories. Thissimpleprevention willreducethe riskofaccidentalstarting ofthetool.

•Storethetool inasecureplaceoutofreachofchildren. Asecurestorage locationwill prevent theunauthorized

SAFETYRULESFORTHETILESAW
1. Holdtoolbyinsulated grippingsurfaceswhencuttinginareaswheretheblade maycomeincontactwithhidden
wiringorit’sownpowercord.Contactwithlivewiringwillcausenon-insulatedpartsofthesawtobecomeliveand if
touched,shock theoperator.
2. Donotstart thesawwiththebladetouching anysurface.Theblade actionwillcausekickback, whichcan resultin
injury.
3. Allowtheblade tocometoacompletestopbeforeputtingthe sawdown. A movingblade cancomeincontact with
somethingandcausethe sawtobounceorturnwhichcan result inmaterialorbodilydamage.

Checkthetoolandaccessoriesfor damage,whichcouldhaveoccurredduringtransportation.
USAGETIPS
●Alwayscutonetileattime.
●Besure motorhasreachedfull speedbeforestartingtocuttile.
●Letthesawblade run freelyfor afewsecondsbeforecutting apieceof tile.Switchoffimmediately
and disconnectthe power supplyifitmakesan unfamiliar soundorvibratesexcessively.
●Thedirectionalarrowmarkedonthebladeshouldcorrespondwiththerotationdirection of the
motor.
●Ensure thatthe blade-securing arbor and collarsaretight.
●Letthe bladecometoacompletestopbeforeremovinganyjammed or cutoff materialfrom
aroundthe bladearea.
●Never allowthe continuousrimbladetorundry.Failure tokeep thewateron itwill result in
possibleover-heating ofthe diamondblade andapoorcut ofthetile.
Caution:Thistilesawisdesignedforcuttingtileandmarble, notformetal, woodorplastic.All
otherapplicationsareexpresslyexcluded.
OPERATIONOFSAW
Diamond BladeInstallation andRemoval
Warning:Beforeinstallingorremoving blade, turn offthepowersupply. Failuretodosomay
resultinaccidental startingofthetool whichmaycauseseriousinjury.
●Toremovethediamond blade,gripoutside flange withboxwrench,placesocket wrenchon
spindlebolt and turnsocketwrenchclockwise(Figure 1).Removespindlebolt,outsideflangeand
blade. Donotremoveinner flange(Figure 2).

●Tore-install,fitthebladesuppliedontothe motor shaft.
●Fit theouterflange andspindlebolt.
●Tighten thespindleboltbygrippingoutside flange withboxwrench,placesocket wrenchon
spindlebolt and turnsocketwrenchcounter clockwise. Donotover-tighten!
TriggerButton(On-Off)
Thetoolcanonlybe putintoserviceifboththeLockOff button and thetriggerare depressed.
Depressing the trigger turnsthe tool on”.Releasing the triggerturnsthe tool off”. The LockOff
button will automaticallylockinthe OFF”positionwhen thetrigger isreleased,preventingany
unintentionaloperation.
DepthofCut
●Loosen AdjustableCuttingDepthWingNut on BasePlate
(Figure3)
●Holdthebaseplateflatagainsttheedgeof thetileand lift the
bodyoftooluntil theblade isatrightdepth.
●Secure thebasebytighteningAdjustableCuttingDepthWing
Nut.
0-450MiterCut
●Loosen 0-45 Locking Knob(forbevelcuts)(Figure4)
●Tiltthe bodyofsawuntiltherequiredangleisreached
●Tighten theLockingKnob tosecurethe baseplate
ChangingtheBlade
When the bladeisworn out,it shouldbe changedasdescribed
intheprocedurein DiamondBlade Installation andRemoval”.
WaterValveAdjustment
●Regulatethewatervolumebyturning the water controltothe leftor right.
●Whenturningthe valvetothe right(towardthe opening ofthe water hose),thewater outlet willbe
fullyopenedandwhen turningit back totheleft,itwillbe fullyclosed.
●Amountofwater flowisadjusted byturning the water controlvalveratherthanatthesourceofthe
water.
Cutting theTile
●Markthe desiredcutting lineontilesurface, ensure the tilematerialissecurelyclampedor
stationaryand horizontal.
●Putthebaseplateonthetilewithout touchingthe blade.

●Holdthetoolfirmlyandturn on the tool.Don’tallowthe blade totouchthe materialuntilit has
attainedfullspeed.
●Slowlyand smoothlymovethe toolforward tocut, keeping thebaseplateflaton thesurface.
CAUTION:Don’tforget toopenthewatervaluetolet thewaterflowontothesurfaceofthe
bladewhileyoustartcutting thetilematerial.Thevolumeofwatercanbeadjustedwiththe
watervalve.
●Keep the toolmovingforward smoothlyandevenlyuntilthecutiscomplete.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Warning!Foryoursafety, make suresawisOFFandunplug sawfromthepowersource
beforeperforming anytroubleshooting procedures.
1.Themotorunitistoohot:
●Turnoffthe sawand letitcooldowntoroomtemperature.
●Checkandclean thecooling ventsonthemotor housing.
●Makesure nothing isbinding theblade andthe bladeisappropriateforthe materialbeing cut..
2.Motor stopsrunning:
●Verifypower cord isfullyconnected.
●Checkpowersourcevoltage is120V.
●Checkcarbonbrushesfor wornor defectiveparts.
MAINTENANCE
Caution:For yoursafety,turn offswitchandunplugsawfromthepowersourcebefore
performing anymaintenance or cleaning. Ifthepowercord becomesdamagedinanyway,
replace itimmediatelywithanapprovedcord.Whencleaningthesaw,DONOTexposethe
motor todirect water.Ifexcessivewaterisintroducedintothemotor,electricshock and/or
damagetothemotorcanoccur.
Periodicmaintenanceofyour sawallowsfor long lifeand trouble-free operation.The cutting residue
thatthesawgeneratescouldbe considerable.Followtheserecommended maintenancesteps:
●Wipe,brush,or vacuumthetiledebris,gritanddustfromthe sawhousing,baseplate,bladeand
depthguide thoroughlyaftereachuse.
●Inspectthediamond blade for it’soverallintegrity. Checktherimforwearor damage.
●Never usewateror anyother chemicalliquidstoclean theelectricalpartsofthe tool.
●Useasoftclothtocleanthewater anddustonthe tool.
●Keeptheventilation slotsofthemotor clean.
ReplacingCarbonBrushes
●Removeandcheck the carbon brushesregularly.
●Replacewhenthe carbonbrusheshaveworndowntoabout1/4”(6mm)orless.
●Keepthecarbon brushescleanfor free movementintheholder.
●Bothcarbonbrushesshouldbereplaced atthe sametime.
●Usescrew drivertoremovebrushcaps,takeoutworn carbonbrushes,insertnewones, and
secure the brushcaps.
