Digital Display Operation Features
•When the Hypro-FoamPro is
powered up the digital display
reads “Hypro”, then goes to flow
and “0” reading.
•Then FoamPro proportioner is in
standby mode operating as a
flowmeter only.

•Push the red “FOAM” button and
the “ON” light will illuminate.
•Open a discharge monitored by the
FoamPro Flowmeter, the display
will show flow in GPM.
•When the foam
concentrate pump is
running the “ON” light
will blink.

•Push the “SELECT” Button.
•Defaulted Foam Concentrate
Injection Percentage.
–Single Tank Option, PA.
–Remote Start/Stop Option, PC.
•Selecting Injection Percentage.
–In any Mode, press the UP or DOWN
button momentarily, displays current
%. Hold either button for 2 second to
increase or decrease the %.
–In %Mode, displays current %, push
the UP or DOWN button to increase
or decrease %.

•Push the “SELECT” Button
•Total Amount of Foam Concentrate
Injected.
–In dual tank option, displays foam
concentrate used in Tank A or Tank B.
•Simulated Flow
–In flow mode push both buttons
simultaneously .
–FoamPro system is in a manual mode.
–To operate the foam pump push the
red “FOAM” button to turn on and off
the foam pump.

•When “Lo con”is Displayed.
–Selected foam concentrate tank is
getting low.
–If foam concentrate is added within 2
minutes “Lo con” goes out.
–If no foam concentrate is added within
2 minutes “no con” is displayed.
•When “no con” is Displayed.
–Foam concentrate pump will not run.
–Add foam concentrate until “no con”
display goes out then push red
“FOAM” button to start the foam pump.

•“Hi Flo” Display.
–Occurs when the water flow and
selected foam concentrate injection
percentage exceeds the foam
pump capabilities.
–Informs pump operator when this
situation occurs.
–Lower foam concentrate injection
percentage or water flow to stop
the flashing “Hi Flo” display.

Purging Air From Foam Pump
•Enter Simulated Flow mode.
•Turn Cal/Injection valve to Cal/Flush
position.
•Push red “FOAM” button to run foam
pump.
•Run until foam concentrate is flowing
steadily out the dump line.
•Push red “FOAM” button to stop foam
pump.
•Turn Cal/Injection valve back to Inject.
•Exit Simulated Flow mode.

Flushing the Foam System
•FoamPro pump does not require
flushing when using Class AFoam.
–After operating the FoamPro system
push the “FOAM” button to stop the
foam concentrate pump and flow the
discharges till clean water is flowing.
•Flush after using Class B Foams.
–Flow water out of the discharge, push
the “FOAM” button to start the pump.
–With a Manual Dual Tank
–Turn handle to manual flush position.
–With a Electronic Dual Tank
–Off position is constant flush.

System Reset

Maintenance of the System
•Foam Concentrate Strainer
–Cleaned out regularly.
–When foam pump is running and a
little or no foam concentrate is being
injected, check for clogged strainer.
–Always after cleaning strainer purge
all air from the foam system.
•Foam Concentrate Pump Oil
–Check dip stick at top of pump.

–Check site glass to see if full.
