Disconnect the connector plugs (window switches, multiplexer, outside rear-view mirror…).

Disconnect the original speaker connector.
Drill out the original rivets (x4 per woofer).
Use the drill bit provided with the IFVW Golf 6 kit.
Remove the original speaker.
Separate the speaker from its mounting (using the
tool supplied with the kit).

Assemble the Focal speaker using the rivets provi-
ded with the kit.
Warning: use riveting pliers with a long enough
headpiece to avoid damaging the speaker.
Put the fasteners in the “unlock” position before
reassembling the door panel.
Reconnect the Focal speaker (equipped with VW
connector).

Installing the tweeter in the door.
Dismantle the original tweeter mounting (using the
Focal tool provided).
Place the two plastic clips onto the Focal tweeter mounting.
Remove the two plastic clips from the original part.
Place the rubber washer onto the door frame.
Remove the rubber washer from the tweeter moun-
ting.
