Einstellungen
Um das A-2 live als Standard Audio Gerät unter Windows
auszuwählen, gehen Sie in die Systemsteuerung -> Hardware und
Sound -> Audiogeräte verwalten.
Hier Können Sie das A-2 live
als Standardgerät auswählen.
Das A-2 live wird im
Betriebssystem als USB Audio
DAC angezeigt.
Technische Daten
Je nach Wiedergabe Software können Sie diese Auswahl auch direkt
in Ihrer Audiosoftware vornehmen und die On-Board Soundkarte als
Standgerät belassen, so dass z.B. Systemklänge nicht über den A-2
live wiedergegeben werden.
Das A-2 live ist ein hochwertiges, zweikanaliges USB Audio
Interface mit galvanisch getrenntem AES/EBU Digital Audio
Ausgang.
Übertragen Sie digitale Audiosignale vom Computer ohne Qualitäts-
oder Pegelverluste direkt auf ein professionelles Beschallungssystem
wie z.B. Airea.
Viele handelsübliche Soundkarten bieten zwar zahlreiche
Funktionen, verfügen aber häufig nicht über einen AES/EBU
Ausgang. Die Folgen sind oftmals Einstreuungen, Brummen,
schlechte Übertragungsqualität oder zu niedriger Ausgangspegel.
Diese Probleme gehören mit dem A-2 live der Vergangenheit an.
Das A-2 live wird an einem freien USB Anschluss am Computer
angeschlossen und kann sofort verwendet werden. Es ist keine
zusätzliche Treiberinstallation notwendig.
Der Betrieb des A-2 live ist unter Windows XP, Windows Vista,
Windows 7, Windows 8 und Windows 8.1 (32-Bit und 64-Bit), sowie
unter Mac OS 10.4 – 10.8 und Linux ab Kernel 2.6 möglich.

Lautstärke Regler welche direkt auf die Soundkarte zugreifen,
haben keinen Einfluß auf die Ausgangslautstärke und das Signal.
Somit sind die Master Volume Regler des Betriebssystems ohne
Funktion.

Installation
Description
Settings
To select the A-2 live as your default audio device under Windows,
go to the Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Audio Devices.
Here you can select the A-2
live as your default device.
The A-2 live will appear in
the operating system as USB
Audio DAC.
Technical specifications
Depending on your playback application, this selection can also be
made from within the audio software itself. Your on-board soundcard
will remain as the default device, so that any system sound for
example won't be transmitted via the A-2 live.
The A-2 live is a high-quality, 2-channel USB audio interface with
galvanically isolated AES/EBU digital audio output.
Digital audio signals can be directly transferred from a computer to
a professional sound reinforcement system, such as Airea, without
any reduction in sound quality or level.
Despite offering a range of features, many standard sound cards
lack an AES/EBU output. This frequently results in interference,
hum, poor transfer quality or insufficient output level. With the A-2
live, these issues become a thing of the past.
Connect the A-2 live to a free USB port on the computer and it
will be ready for immediate use. No additional driver installation is
necessary.
The A-2 live is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista,
Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 (32-bit and 64-bit), as well
as with Mac OS 10.4-10.8 and Linux from Kernel 2.6.

Volume controllers that directly access the sound card will have
no effect on the output level or signal. The operating system’s
master volume control will have no effect.
