Cautions
Clean the body and spindle by dry fabric prior to use and after using.
Use correct clamping size at 8H6mm
Please use a cloth moistened with alcohol to clean the measuring spindle. Never apply oil to the
measuring spindle!
Do not disassemble the tools.
General Features
Power ON and OFF
a) Power ON with battery in
b) Press ZERO/ON/OFF button
c) Long press ZERO/ON/OFF button for power OFF
Zero setting
a) Upon ABS mode, press ZERO/ON/OFF Button for zero (or preset value).
b) It goes to zero when switching from ABS to INC mode
c) No zero setting at INC mode
Switching mode between ABS and INC press button SET to change mode between ABS & INC. “ABS”
displayed at ABS mode, but no mode displayed at INC mode.
Replacing battery In case of below situations, please replace with a new battery
a) LCD does not display clearly, or digits are twinkling
b) No display at all
About Measuring Mode
There are three modes for optional, <Normal>, <Tol.> and <Max. / Min.>. Press button MODE for
changing the measuring mode.
<Normal>: the mode for normal measuring and function setting

<Tol.>: in case the tol is present
a) Icon “TOL” is displayed on this mode. When the reading is within tol, icon “ “is displayed.
When it is over upper tol “ “is displayed.” “Is for smaller than lower tol
b) No zero setting on <Tol> mode
c) No ABS/INC switching on <Tol> mode
<Max. / Min.>: The mode for memorizing and tracing Max. and Min. value
a) Icon “MAX” is displayed on this mode. Now the Max. value will be memorized.
b) Press button SET then “MIN” is displayed , now Min. value will be memorized.
c) Press button SET then “MAX - MIN” is displayed , it shows the margin between Max. and Min.
value.
d) If pressing button ZERO/ON/OFF the memorized Max. and Min. value can be removed.
e) No ABS/INC switching on <Max./Min.> mode.
f) No ABS/INC switching on this mode.
Function and Setting
L-press button SET for setting, “SET” is displayed Then press button ZERO/ON/OFF it ' s switching within 4
functions, , <Tolerance> “TOL” <preset> “CAL”, <metric/ inch> “ m-in “, and <measuring direction> “dir”

Tolerance setting “TOL”
a) Under “ SET-TOL” mode , press button MODE to set lower tol.
While “ ” icon is blinking. And the last digit is blinking now, then press button MODE to modify
the number from 0-9. Then press button ZERO/ON/OFF to blink the left digit , the set the
intended value as above process till finishing all digits.
b) Press button SET again to move to upper tol. Setting, while
“”icon is blinking, set the intended value as same procedure as
lower tol. Setting .
Presetting value “CAL”
a) Under “SET-CAL” mode, press button to set the present MODE value. The last digit is blinking and
can be modified from 0 to 9 by pressing button MODE .
b) Press button ZERO/ON/OFF to blink the left digit, finish the setting for all other digits per same
procedure.
c) Press button to SET quit. The setting can be applied to both metric and inch mode.
d) If L –press button ZERO/ON/OFF, the preset value goes back to zero and preset mode is quitted.
Changing between metric / inch system “mm-in”
a) Under “SET-mm-in” mode , press button MODE to change metric/ inch system. “mm” is blinking
on metric system , and “in” is blinking on inch system.
b) Press button SET to quit.
Measuring Direction Setting “dir”
a) Under “SET-dir” mode , press button MODE to change the measuring directly. Sign “+” stands for
normal direction . sign “-”stands for reverse direction. “ “displayed on reverse direction.
