24-BIT / 96KHZ DIGITAL MULTITRACKS
ostex have made new additions
to their range of stand-a one
professiona digita mu titrack
recorders and now present the new
24bit / 96kHz compatib e D1624
and D824.
These high specification machines
record uncompressed digita audio at
up to 24bit / 96kHz to caddy-he d
standard E-IDE hard drives by way of
state-of-the-art 128x oversamp ing
de ta-sigma 24bit AD/DAs - a under
the fu contro of FDMS-3 Fostex’s
efficient Disk Management System.
FDMS-3 not on y offers more efficient
disk usage, (up to 1,880 track minutes
recording on a 10Gb drive with
16bit/44.1kHz), but a so a ows for
faster editing operations.

Ease of use has been enhanced too
with the addition of the ‘A Input’

cards to add timecode, AES/EBU and
ba anced I/O functions.
