PAIRING REMOTE HANDSET AND CONTROL BOX ID CODE
The Remote Control Handset has a set of unique ID codes that is pre-programmed into its
memory. This set of ID codes helps to differentiate one Remote Control Handset from
another so that only the control box with a matching ID code will respond to the
appropriate Remote Control Handset.
To pair the control box to the Remote Handset follow the steps below:
Ensure the Remote is switched OFF by using the ON/OFF button.
Remove a battery from the remote.
Remove main power to the control box, wait 30 seconds (approx.).
Reconnect main power to the control box, and immediately reinstall the battery
into the remote.
Press and hold the FAN 1 and FAN 2 buttons simultaneously. The temperature
display will show the letters “LC” momentarily indicating the ID codes have been
transmitted.
The display will revert back to the normal off mode display. The burner will be on
the fans will be on.
Release both the FAN 1 and FAN 2 buttons.
The display on the Remote will indicate the Remote is off. Press the ON/OFF
button twice. The burner and fans will turn off.
The control box will only learn the Remote ID codes during the first 30 seconds after
power is applied and will ignore this special command from the Remote after the first 30
seconds.
A training video about the Pairing procedure is available on our website:
http://www.regency-fire.com.au/Customer-Care/Fireplace-Care-Videos.aspx
WARNING
Do not try to open or repair the Remote. There are no internal serviceable parts.
This will void all warranties.
