SIG7802HD is a dual HDMI video inputs HD encoder which output via DVB-ASI interface. SIG7802HD is
designed to achieve 1080i by using MPEG2 low latency encoding engine and standard TS Mux technologies.
The SIG7802HD is an excellent choice to transport video/audio signals from TV satellite receivers, surveillance
camera or video/media players to ASI output interface for different application.

SIG7802HD is a dual HDMI video inputs HD encoder which output via DVB-ASI interface. SIG7802HD is

compliance with the instructions given in this manual, in order to protect the operator against all possible injury
and the product from damage.
Never remove the product cover, dangerous powered components could be accessible when the casing is
opened.
INSTALLATION WARNINGS
• The product must not be exposed to water spray and must be installed indoors in dry environments.
• Damp and condensation could damage the product, therefore always wait for the product to be completely
dry before use.
• Handle with care. Knocks could damage the product.
• Leave plenty of space around the product to ensure sufficient ventilation.
• High temperatures or overheating could compromise the product functions and life.
• Do not install the product above or close to heat sources, in dusty environments or where it could be exposed
to corrosive substances.
• To avoid injury, the product must be installed in compliance with the assembly instructions given in Chapter 4.
• The appliance must be installed so that the mains plug is easily accessible.
• The product must be connected to the earth electrode of the antenna system, in compliance with the
EN60728-11 standard.
The ground screw is indicated with the symbol.
• It is important to observe the dispositions of the EN60728-11 standard and not to connect the ground screw
to the earthing system of the power supply.

4 - INSTALLATION
Please follow the instructions below to install the SIG7802HD.

For the protection of your equipment and its proper working is necessary to
connect the SIG7802HD to a ground connection.
See basic safety instruction chapter.
A. Connect the power plug to the socket.
B. Connect the earth cable.
C. Connet to a video player (DVD, satellite receiver, STB)
D. Connect to a modulator with ASI inputs (for EX 3DGFLEX ASI TWIN modulator)
E. Connect the encoder to a personal computer and follow the instructions listed in the
“operating adjustment via web browser” chapter
Below is described how to operate the SIG7802HD by using the control buttons on the front panel.
In the menus and submenus, move the up or down button to browse upwards and downwards.
In the settings, move the up or down button to modify values.
