Freestyle Shark Skin Diver User manual

ENGLISH
SET THE COMPASS
• If DIST displays, move away from
large metallic objects or strong
EM signals
• Watch will measure magnetic
North.
• To set to true north, enter a
declination value and adjust
for angle
• After 3 minutes, watch
will return to TOD mode
automatically
SET DECLINATION
• Press [LAP/RST] for 3 seconds
to enter CALIBRATION mode.
The screen will show [CAL]
• Press [MODE] for 2 seconds to
enter Declination
• The screen will show [DEC]
• You can enter between East
(E) and West (W), 0~90 degree
• Press [MODE] for 2 seconds to
conrm the value and return to
COMPASS mode
DEFAULT ALARM SETTINGS
• All alarms: 12:00 AM; OFF
• Two daily alarm with the
sound alert
• Snooze function with 60
second interval
• Set alarm to activate on either
digital home time or digital
world time
SET THE ALARM
• Press [ST/STOP] to turn on/off
the alarm switch; once ON, icon
will display
• Press [LAP/RST] to switch
between AL1 and AL2
• Press and hold [LAP/RST] for 3
seconds to enter alarm setting
• Press [LAP/RST] to set Alarm
Minute > Alarm Hour > HT/WT
• Press [ST/STOP] to increase
value or press [LAP/RST] to
decrease the value
• Press [ST/STOP] or [LAP/RST]
and hold 3 seconds to increase
or decrease the setting at 8
times per second
• Alarm time will display in same
time format as primary time; PM
will only display in 12H format
• When it is alarm time setting
state, if the alarm data is
changed, the alarm switch is
turned on automatically.
• If no button is pressed for 60
seconds, it will return to ALARM
mode
• Alarm will sound for 20 seconds,
alarm icon will blink, and snooze
option becomes available
• Alarm time will display when the
alarm sounds when in Time of
Day, World Time, Alarm, and
Recall modes
and hold 3 seconds, will increase
or decrease the setting value
• Chime ON will set chime hourly
• Chime OFF will turn off
hourly chime
• Beep ON will turn on a beep
sound when active buttons are
pressed
• Beef OFF will turn off beeps
• When in any mode setting, all
alarms are temporarily disabled
and re-enabled upon exit
• Available days are aligned with
each month (ex. February will
have available days of 1 to 28
or 1 to 29 (leap year).
DEFAULT WORLD
TIME SETTINGS
• 32 cities/zones
• Time displayed in 12- or
24-hour format (same as local
time setting)
SET WORLD TIME
• Press [ST/STOP] to enter the
next city time
• Press [LAP/RST] to enter the
previous city time
• Press and hold [ST/STOP] for 2
seconds to set DST ON or OFF
• All Display Format is the same as
normal time
DEFAULT WORLD
COMPASS SETTINGS
NOTE: Compass must be calibrated
before using
• Degree: 0° - 360°
• 16 cardinal directions (N, NNW,
NW, WNW, W,WSW, SW, SSW, S,
SSE, SE, ESE, E, ENE, NE, NNE)
• Digital direction indication in
degree with 1 degree interval
(as measured from North)
• Compass calibrate and
declination
CALIBRATE THE COMPASS
• Calibrate compass before using
• Place watch on at surface away
from large metallic objects or
electromagnetic (EM) signals
• Outer bar graph will direct user
to rotate watch clockwise for 2
complete revolutions within
60 seconds
• Press [ST/STP] for 60 seconds
to conrm and exit
• Press [LAP/RST] and hold for
3 seconds to enter calibration
mode
• Press [ST/STP] once to start
calibration process
• Press [ST/STP] again to
complete the calibration and go
back to COMPASS mode
• If no button is pressed for
60 seconds, it will return to
COMPASS mode

• [LIGHT] : Active backlight

MODES
• There are seven modes: Time
of Day, World Time, Compass,
Alarm, Chrono, Recall, Timer
• TIME OF DAY (TOD) is default
mode
DEFAULT TIME OF
DAY SETTINGS
• Time: 12:00 AM; Thursday,
January 1, 2015; 12-hour
format; MM-DD format
• Hourly Chime: Off
• Beep: Off
• Leap Year: Only applicable in
years with February 29th
• Date Range: 2015 - 2099
• Time with Hour, Minute, Second,
Day of week, Month, Day/Time
displayed in 12/24 hour format
• Automatic Leap year adjustment
SET THE TIME OF DAY
• Press [LAP/RST] and hold 3
seconds to set Time/Date
• Sequence is: City Hour > Minute
> Second > Hour Format > Day >
Month > Year >
DST > Beep > Chime
• Press [MODE] to change
the setting
• Press [MODE] and hold 2
seconds (or hold for 60 seconds
to reset to default)
• Press [ST/STOP] or [LAP/RST]

• Piezoelectric buzzer produces
tones for audible feedback to
alert user
• Active beep and timer alert
melody
• Conrm beep and timer alert

DEFAULT BACKLIGHT
OF LCD
• Light remains active for 3
seconds after touching crystal
at 10H [Light], even when touch
sensors iare locked

SETTINGS
• Reset Time: 1:00.00
• Action at end of countdown:
STOP
• Timer time: 0 - 23:59.59
• 1-second resolution
up to 23:59:59
(hours:minutes:seconds)
• Optional setting for count-down
repeat or count-up
• Timer displays in one-second
resolution but must be set no
greater than 125ms
• Any fractional timer shall be
rounded up to the nearest
second when displayed
SET THE TIMER
• In TIMER mode, there are three
options: Reset, Running, Stop
• TIMER icon only ashes when
Running
• TIMER reaches zero and
countdown action is:
• STOP, timer will auto-stop and
alert will sound for 20 seconds
• UP, timer will count up and alert
will sound for 20 seconds
• REPEAT, timer will restart from
preset timer data; timer preset
data is less than 10 seconds,
alert sound is short beep
(one beep)
• REPEAT, timer will restart from
preset timer data; timer preset
data is less than 30 seconds,
alert sound is short beep-beep
(two beeps)
• RESET, press and hold [LAP/
RST] for 3 seconds to begin
TIMER; press [MODE] to change
the setting: Hour > Minute >
Second > End
• Press [ST/STOP] to increase the
value, and press [LAP/RST] to
decrease the value
• Press and hold [ST/STOP] or
[LAP/RST] for 3 seconds, value
will increase/decrease 8 times
per second
• Press [ST/STOP] or [LAP/RST]
to select STOP, REPEAT or UP
• Press and hold [MODE] for 2
seconds to exit
• When Running, after 2 minutes,
watch will return to TOD mode
automatically
• When in Reset or Stop, after 3
minutes, watch will return to
TOD mode automatically
• Snooze offers ve cycles at
60 second intervals; stop by
pressing any button while the
alarm sounds
DEFAULT CHRONO
SETTINGS
• Chrono Data: 00:00.00.00
• Chrono State: Reset
• Chrono Data Range: 0 -
99:59.59.99
• Lap: 1~50
• 1/100s resolution up to
100 hours
• Outer bars rolling indicates
chronograph running
• 50 laps
SET THE CHRONO
• NOTE: When the total data run
to 99:59’59’99, it will stop
automatically
• When the chrono has reached
99:59’59’99, click and hold
[LAP/RST] to restart
• Press [ST/STOP] to restart
chrono
• When chrono is running, press
[LAP/RST] will display blinking
lap number and will freeze the
lap time for 5 seconds; it will
then run the next lap time
• While lap is running, press [ST/
STOP] to display the total lap
time and the last stored lap
number & time alternately every
2 seconds until pressing [LAP/
RST] to continue running or [ST/
STOP] to clear chrono data
• Once chrono is reset, all data
in storage will be cleared
automatically
• Once reset, chrono will return to
TOD mode automatically
DEFAULT RECALL
SETTINGS
• Data: Empty
• Look up chrono data (Lapxx,
Fast, Slow, Average, Total)
SET THE RECALL
• NOTE: When there is no data,
display will read RCL NO LAPS
• Click [ST/STOP] to cycle through
the sequence:
• TTL - Total time of all laps
• FST - Fastest lap
• SLW - Slowest lap
• AVG - Average time of all laps
• In LAPXX, press [LAP/RST] to
display next LAP data
• In LAPXX, press and Hold [LAP/
RST] for 2 seconds, to display
succeeding LAP data faster
• After 3 minutes, watch
will return to TOD mode
automatically
