• Avoid contact with any moving parts of automatic ice
maker.
• Remove all staples from the carton. Staples can cause
severe cuts, and also destroy finishes if they come in
contactwith other appliances or furniture.
CHILD SAFETY
Destroyorrecyclethecarton,plasticbags,andanyexterior
wrapping material immediately after the refrigerator is
unpacked.ChildrenshouldNEVER usetheseitemstoplay.
Cartons covered with rugs, bedspreads, plastic sheets or
stretchwrap maybecomeairtight chambers,andcan quickly
causesuffocation.

Before you throw away your old refrigerator/ freezer:
• Removedoors.
• Leaveshelvesinplace so children may not easily climb
inside.
• Haverefrigerant removed by a qualified service
technician.
ELECTRICAL INFORMATION
•The refrigerator must be plugged into its own
dedicated 115 Volt, 60 Hz.,AC only electric outlet.
The power cord of the appliance is equipped with a
three-pronggroundingplug for your protection against
electrical shock hazards. It must be plugged directly
intoa properly groundedthree-prongreceptacle.The
receptacle must be installed in accordance with local
codesandordinances.Consultaqualifiedelectrician.
Do not use an extension cord or adapter plug.
• Immediatelyrepairorreplace any power cord that
becomesfrayedordamaged.
• Neverunplugtherefrigeratorbypullingonthepower
cord.Always grip the plug firmly, and pull straight out
fromthereceptacleto preventdamagingthepowercord.
• Unplugtherefrigerator before cleaning andbefore
replacing a light bulb to avoid electrical shock.
• Performance may be affected if the voltage varies by
10%ormore. Operating the refrigerator with insufficient
powercandamagethecompressor. Such damage is
notcoveredunderyourwarranty.
• Do not plug the unit into an outlet controlled by a wall
switchorpullcordtopreventtherefrigeratorfrombeing
turned off accidentally.
• AvoidconnectingrefrigeratortoaGroundFaultInterruptor
(GFI)circuit.
NOTE:Turning the freezer temperature control to OFF
turns off the compressor, but does not disconnect
electrical power to the light bulb or other electrical
components.
