50mm driver

A larger driver tends to deliver a more powerful sound, which in

turn delivers deeper bass reproduction. The sound image also

beneﬁts from greater resolution in terms of audio clarity, which

means that you will be able to hear and distinguish a much more

detailed sound image.

Intuitive control interface integration

The HS-260 has been designed to integrate the sound and vol-

ume controls intuitively on the headset itself. When these controls

are found on an in-line control on the headphone cord, it tends to

get stuck on your table, chair or wrapped up in your clothes.

With the controls being directly integrated onto the headset, it

helps to eliminate distractions such as looking for the volume/

mute control while you are in situations of life and death; taking

your eyes off the screen can be detrimental at this point.

Optimized sound image

The drivers have been carefully tuned to deliver a well-balanced

sound image. This will allow you to achieve a distinguished

speech as well as a full performance audio experience during

gaming sessions.

The speakers have been synced to work at the same performance

level which will help you to pinpoint the exact position of an

enemy in-game.

Detachable cord & microphone solution

The HS-260 includes an intelligently designed, detachable cord

solution to eliminate cable breaks and avoid tangled cables.

Interchangable connectors

The microphone and audio cable can be connected on either side

of the headphones as they are removable and will work in both

positions.

1. Connect the cable to the headset. Be sure that you connect

the connector with 3 black rings into one of the headphone

jacks.

2. Connect the HS-260 Microphone into the empty jack on the

headphone.

3. Connect the cable to the computer or preferred audio/mic

jack. Be sure that the pink connector is connected to a micro-

phone jack and that the green connector is connected to an

audio jack.

Note: The microphone and audio cable can be connected on

either side of the headphones as they are interchangeable and

will work in both positions.

Volume

To raise or lower the volume rotate the volume

wheel upwards or downwards.

Mute

Mute the microphone by sliding the mute button

forward.

Detach earpad cushion

To detach the earpad cushions, press under the cushion on the

inside of the ear pad to get the best grip. Gently peel off the

cushion.

Re-attach earpad cushion

To re-attach the earpad cushion, locate the groove on the head-

phone (groove marked on the image). Slide the earpad cushion

edge into the groove and slide the edge by rotating the earpad

cushion at the same time.

Note: Be sure that the edge of the earpad cushion doesn’t

come off during the sliding procedure.

The frequency response curve displays how well the headset performs volume wise in decibel (dBr) which is normalized to 1 000 Hertz

(Hz) relative to the frequency span from 20 to 20 000 Hz. Ideally this curve should be as flat as possible to represent the audio that once

were recorded. If the frequency response curve is above the 0 dBr axis in the Bass area the headset is prone to deliver deeper sound

and if it is lower in the treble area the sound tends to be less clear.

The reason why the curve has a lots of peaks and valleys in the treble area is due to the fact that the speaker is close to the ear which

then these sound waves hit and therefore produces the this irregularity, the importance is that the average doesn’t peak too high, see

the dashed line (these fluctuations are common to headsets and headphones due to their similar structural design).

The Func HS-260 is tuned to deliver a sound suitable for gaming environment. It delivers enough bass for immersive gameplay and on

the same time distinguishes speech from your teammates in the heat of battle.

Warranty terms

The Func HS-260 Gaming Headset has a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase. If your product is registered using your Func Insider

account, an additional year of warranty is provided (3 years total from purchase date).

Proof of purchase, with date of purchase are required for warranty claims.

The extra warranty is not valid for refurbished or second-hand purchases.

Obtaining warranty support

Before submitting a warranty claim, visit the support section at www.func.net for technical assistance. Valid warranty claims are gener-

ally processed through the point of purchase during the ﬁrst thirty (30) days following purchase; however, this period of time may vary

depending on where you purchased your product – please check with Func or the retailer where you purchased your product for details.

Warranty claims that cannot be processed through the point of purchase and any other product related questions should be addressed

directly to Func. The addresses and customer service contact information for Func can be found in the documentation accompanying

your product and on the web at www.func.net.

Func warrants to the original purchaser that Func hardware product is free from defects in material and workmanship for the length of time from the date of purchase – speciﬁed on

the product package and/or contained in the user documentation.

Except where prohibited by applicable law, this warranty is nontransferable and is limited to the original purchaser. This warranty grants speciﬁc legal rights; other rights may apply

under other variable local laws.

Remedies

Func’s entire liability and exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty shall be at Func’s discretion: (1) to repair or replace the hardware, or (2) to refund the price paid, provided that

the hardware is returned to the point of purchase or such other place as Func may direct with a copy of the sales receipt or dated itemized receipt. Shipping and handling charges

may apply except where prohibited by applicable law. Func may, at its option, use new or refurbished or used parts in good working condition to repair or replace any hardware

product. Any replacement hardware product will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or thirty (30) days, whichever is longer or for any additional period of

time that may be applicable in your jurisdiction.

This warranty does not cover problems or damage resulting from: (1) accident, abuse, misapplication, or any unauthorized repair, modiﬁcation or disassembly; (2) improper operation

or maintenance, usage not in accordance with product instructions or connection to improper voltage supply; or (3) use of consumables, such as replacement batteries, not supplied

by Func except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

Limitation of liability

FUNC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF

PROFITS, REVENUE OR DATA (WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT) OR COMMERCIAL LOSS FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON YOUR PRODUCT EVEN

IF FUNC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of special, indirect, incidental or consequential

damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply.

Duration of implied warranties

EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON

THIS HARDWARE PRODUCT IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THE APPLICABLE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD FOR YOUR PRODUCT. Some jurisdictions do not

allow limitations on implied warranty length, so the above limitation may not apply.

National statutory rights

Consumers have legal rights under applicable national legislation governing the sale of consumer goods. Such rights are not affected by the warranties in this Limited Warranty.
