–Installation work and electrical
wiring must be done by qualified

prevent back drafting. Follow the
heating equipment manufacturer’s

and local code authorities.
–When cutting into walls or ceilings,
do not damage electrical wiring and

air must be ducted to the outside.
Do not vent exhaust air into spaces
within walls, ceilings, attics, crawl
spaces or garages.

●Do not allow insulation, ceiling
finishing materials, roofing
materials, or other debris to enter
the fan housing or ductwork. Motor
failures due to debris are not

Important Safety Instructions
WARNING
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF A RANGE
HOOD GREASE FIRE:
–Never leave surface units
unattended at high settings.
Boilovers cause smoking and
greasy spillovers that may ignite.
–Heat oils slowly on low or medium
settings.
–Always turn hood on when cooking
at high heat or when cooking or
flambeing food.
–Clean ventilating fans frequently.
Grease should not be allowed to
accumulate on fan or filter.
–Use proper pan size. Always use
cookware appropriate for the size of
the surface element.
WARNING
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURY TO
PERSONS IN THE EVENT OF A RANGE
TOP GREASE FIRE, OBSERVE THE
FOLLOWING:
–SMOTHER FLAMES with a close-
fitting lid, cookie sheet or metal
tray, then turn off the burner. BE
CAREFUL TO PREVENT BURNS.
If the flames do not go out
immediately, EVACUATE AND CALL
THE FIRE DEPARTMENT.
–NEVER PICK UP A FLAMING PAN!
You may be burned.
–DO NOT USE WATER, including
wet dishcloths or towels - a violent
steam explosion will result.
–Use an extinguisher only if:
1. You know you have a class ABC
extinguisher, and you already
know how to operate it.
2. The fire is small and contained
in the area where it started.
3. The fire department is being
called.
4. You can fight the fire with your
back to an exit.

Range Hood Installation
1. Take out the range hood from box
and put on a flat surface with the grill
cover facing up.
2. Press the two release tabs on the
grill cover to release it from range
hood. (Fig. 1)

3. Mark centerline of range hood on the
wall. (Fig. 2)
NOTE: The minimum vertical distance
to combustible material above the
range cooking top is 19⁄ inches
when installed with a range hood,
provided the overhead construction
does not extend 13 inches from the
rear wall. (Fig. 3)

4. Mark and cutout a through-hole on
the wall according to the dimensions
outlined in Fig. 2.
5. Connect the range hood wires to a
12V power source from the bottom of
the cabinet. Connect white to white,
black to black. (Fig. 4)
NOTE: Make all electrical supply
connections in accordance with local
and/or applicable codes.

6. Insert vent collar at back of the range
hood into the cutout area and fix the
range hood onto the top cabinet with
the four screws provided.

NOTE: DO NOT over tighten the
screws.

7. Verify that the blower housing and
ductwork are free of debris and fan
blades spin freely.
8. Replace the grill cover to the range
hood and press the release tabs
until you hear a click. (Fig. 7) The
grill cover is securely attached to the
range hood. (Fig. 8)

Exterior Wall Vent
Installation
For best performance, we strongly
recommend that a Furrion exterior wall
vent (sold separately) is installed with
your Furrion RV range hood.
NOTE: Furrion provides two exterior
wall vent collar length options. Please
purchase the option best suited to the
thickness of your wall.

If a Furrion exterior wall vent is
purchased:
1. Lift to remove the exterior wall vent
cover. (Fig. 9

2. Rotate the two release knobs
clockwise or counterclockwise and
open the inner cover.

3. Insert exterior wall vent into the
cutout area and secure with the six
screws provided. (Fig. 12) Seal with
waterproof glue as needed.

Install the suitable outside wall vent
per manufacturer’s instructions if
instructions are provided.

Operation
Fan Control
Press the fan button once to turn on the
fan, press twice to turn off. (Fig. 14)

Press the light button once to turn on the
light, press twice to turn off. (Fig. 15)

Care and Cleaning
After disconnecting power, wipe the fan blade with a moist cloth or sponge to remove
any dirt buildup. Always replace filter after cleaning in mild detergent solution. Never
attempt to clean lamp bulb while it is hot.

DEFECTS IN MANUFACTURING, MATERIALS, AND WORKMANSHIP. IN CASE OF SUCH
DEFECT, FURRION SHALL REPLACE OR REPAIR THE PRODUCT AT NO CHARGE
TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER: PRODUCTS WHERE THE ORIGINAL
SERIAL NUMBERS HAVE BEEN REMOVED, ALTERED OR CANNOT READILY BE
DETERMINED; DAMAGE OR LOSS CAUSED BY ACCIDENT, MISUSE, ABUSE, NEGLECT,

immédiatement, EVACUER ET
APPELER LES POMPIERS.

N’UTILISEZ PAS D’EAU, mouillés

1. Vous savez que vous avez un
extincteur de classe ABC et
vous savez déjà comment le
faire fonctionner.
2. L’incendie est petit et limité à
l’endroit où il a débuté.
3. Le service des incendies est
appelé.
4. Vous pouvez combattre le feu
avec le dos à une sortie.

Installation de hotte de
cuisinière
1. Retirez la hotte de la boîte et mettre
sur une surface plane avec le
couvercle du gril vers le haut.
2. Appuyez sur les languettes de la
libération de deux sur la couverture
de la grille pour la dégager de la
hotte. (Fig. 1)

3. Tracer la ligne centrale de la hotte
sur le mur. (Fig. 2)
ATTENTION: la distance verticale
minimale entre le combustible et la
plaque de cuisson est de 19⁄ pouces
pour une installation avec la hotte,
dans le cas où le compartiment
supérieur ne dépasse pas 13 pouces
du mur arrière. (Fig. 3)

4. Mark et découpe un trou débouchant
sur le mur selon les dimensions
décrites sur la figure 2.
5. Connectez les fils de capot de gamme
à une source d’alimentation 12V du
fond de l’armoire. Connectez le blanc
sur blanc, noir sur noir. (Fig. 4)
REMARQUE: Effectuer tous les
raccordements d’alimentation
électrique conforme aux codes les et/
ou il y a lieu.

6. Insérez le collet de l’évent à
l’arrière de la hotte dans la zone
de découpage et fixer la hotte sur
le coffret supérieur avec quatre vis
fournies. (Fig. 5 and Fig. 6)
REMARQUE: Ne pas trop serrer les
vis.

7. Vérifier que le châssis de la soufflerie
et la canalisation sont exempts de
débris et fan des rotations de lames
librement.
8. Replacer le couvercle du gril à la
hotte, puis appuyez sur les languettes
de dégagement jusqu’à ce que vous
entendiez un clic (Fig. 7) Le couvercle
du gril est solidement fixé à la hotte.

Installation d’aération mur
extérieur
Pour un rendement optimal, nous
recommandons fortement qu’un
évent de mur extérieur Furrion (vendu
séparément) est installé avec votre
Furrion RV hotte de cuisinière.
REMARQUE: Furrion propose deux
options de longueurs pour le collier
d’aération du mur extérieur. Merci de
choisir l’option qui convient le mieux à
l’épaisseur de votre mur.

Si vous avez acheté une ventouse de
mur extérieure de Furrion:
1. Soulever pour retirer le couvercle de
ventilation du mur extérieur. (Fig. 9)

2. Tournez les deux boutons de relâche
dans le sens horaire ou antihoraire et
ouvrez le couvercle intérieur. (Fig. 10
et 11 Fig.)

3. Insérez ventouse extérieur dans la
zone de découpage et fixer avec six
vis fournies. (Fig. 12) Sceller avec de
la colle imperméable à l’eau environ
selon les besoins.

4. Remplacer l’ensemble du couvercle

Contrôle du ventilateur
Appuyez sur le bouton du ventilateur une
fois pour allumer le ventilateur, appuyez
deux fois pour l’éteindre. (Fig. 14)

Appuyez sur le bouton lumière une fois
pour allumer le ventilateur, appuyez

Entretien et Nettoyage
Après avoir l’arrêter nettoyez les pales du ventilateur avec un chiffon humide ou une
éponge pour éliminer toute accumulation de saletés. Toujours remplacer le filtre
après le nettoyage au détergent doux. Ne jamais essayer de nettoyer l’ampoule lampe
lorsqu’elle est chaude.
