Getting to know your Fusion Commercial 8 oz. Heavy-
Duty Popcorn Popper
The Fusion Commercial 8 oz. Heavy-duty Popcorn Popper combines high
quality construction and product features with smart design for excellent
performance. This popper is designed for countertop use but it can be
converted to a "popper / cart" when combined with model 520 Cart.
Power Capacity
The Fusion Commercial 8 oz. Heavy-duty Popcorn Popper operates on 120
volts, draws 12.2 amps and processes 1460 watts of power. For best results,
operate the popper on an individual outlet or circuit branch. If the electric
circuit is over-loaded the circuit breaker will trip and your popcorn popper
will not operate. Make sure your outlet has a 15 amp electrical circuit and is
separate from other appliances.
Before Using for the first time
1 Remove all packaging materials, labels and literature.
2 Use a clean damp cloth to wipe the corn deck, popping kettle and
inside and outside of cabinet. Do not use abrasive cleaners or pads as
they may damage the finish.
3 Make sure the light bulb is securely fastened.
To Operate your Corn Popper
In order to attain the best results, please follow the operating instructions
listed below.
1 Make sure the popper is always positioned on a level, stable surface.
2 Turn on the kettle heating element (HEAT SWITCH - #2) and the warmer
heating element (WARM SWITCH - #3). Allow 3 to 6 minutes for the
kettle heating element to preheat.
3 After preheat is completed, turn kettle agitator motor on (TURN
SWITCH - #1).
4 Add pre-measured amounts of oil (2 oz.) and corn (8 oz.) using the
measuring cups provided with popper. Seasoning (1/2 teaspoon) can
also be added to the kettle, or added after popping is completed if
desired. The amount of oil and seasoning can be modified to suit taste.
DO NOT OVERFILL KETTLE
5 Lower kettle cover onto kettle after corn and oil has been added to
kettle.
6 Close doors of popper so corn does not fall out the front of the machine
during the popping cycle.
7 When popping stops, turn off the kettle motor agitator switch. Turn off
the kettle heating element. Please note the kettle heating element can
remain on if continuous batches are being popped. BE SURE KETTLE
ELEMENT IS TURNED OFF AFTER LAST BATCH IS COMPLETE.
