•OPERATION
This section explainsthe operation of thetrans-
mitter controlswhen the servo reversing switch-
es are inthe normal position. When the revers-
ing switches are inthe reverse position, opera-
tion isthe oppositeof that described here.

12 Aileron dualrate switch Ailerondual
rate ON-OFFswitch.When setto the upper po-
sition, dual rate isturnedon, and when setto
the lower position,dualrateis turnedoff.At
dual ON. the deflection can beset as shown in
Fig. 7 withthe ailerondual ratetrimmer
located on the trimmerpanelat the back of the
transmitter.Atdual OFF,the operatinglinearity
can be switchedasshowninFig. 8 withthe
VTR(VariableTrace Ratio)switch also located
on the trimmer panel.

The trimleveris used forneutralpositionadjustmentor correction of theposture of the aircraftafter
installation iscompleted. However, aftertestflight, try to keep the neutral position as they are mak-
ingnecessary corrections with the rod adjusters, etc.

14 Trainer switch Pull on/self-offswitch.The
transmitterconnected bythe trainercord (M-
TC) operatesand when itisOFF, your-own
transmitteronlyoperates.
15 Throttle-rudder mixing knob Ratchet
knob that setsthe throttleto rudder mixing
amount and direction.Mixingamount is 0 —
50%.
16 Idle-up ON-OFF switch This switch is
turned ON when pushed forward.

17 Idle-up trim control Sets the idling speed
when the 16idle-up switchis ON.
18 Throttle hold switch When this switch is
set to ON, the throttleservostopsatthe posi-
tion setat the 12trimmerand onlythe pitch
servo operates. This switchis used inauto-rota-
tion dives. Both throttle and pitch servos mix-
ing is performedwhenthisswitchif OFF.Itis
ON when pushed forward.

rate ON-OFF switch.Similar to ailerondual
rate, at dual rateON, the rudder deflectioncan
beadjusted withthe rudder dual rate trimmer

to 100%.

Ratio) switch

11DR<->VTRswitch
12Throttle hold point trimmer This trim-
mer sets the throttle servo stop point when the
throttlehold switch18issetto ON. When the
trimmer isturned counterclockwise,the throt-
tle servo moves to the stowside.
13 Throttle high side ATLtrimmer This
trimmer adjustsonly the high side of the throt-
tlestick.Itis extremelyconvenientwhen con-
nectingthe linkage,sincethe low sideremains
unchanged even when the throttle high side is
adjusted withthistrimmer.
14Throttle ->Rudder mixing ON-OFF
Switch This switch turns mixing from the
throttlecontrol(channel 3) to the rudder
(channel 4)ON and OFF.
1516 Rudder ATV trimmer. The adjust-
ment range is same as the aileronATV.
17 Rudder dual-rate trimmer Rudder dual-
rate or VTRtrimmer adjuststhe rudder travel
when the 19rudder dual-rate or VTR on/off
switchis ON.
18DR<->VTR switch
19,20 Pitch control trimmer The servo throw
can be variedfrom0 to 100%ofthe total. Set
for optimum pitchduringnormalflight.

•The Receiver battery can be used about 10
times at 10minutes per flightbetween recharg-
ings.
•Charge the batteries forabout 15hours. When
the set is not inuse forsome time,repeat dis-
charge and charge, two to threetimesbefore
use. (Ifthe batteriesarenot used fora long
time, theircapacitywillgo down).
