Thank you for purchasing the Futureglass Connect Table!
The design of CONNECT allows easy tool free assembly by a competent adult.
The simple tool free assembly means that the table can be constructed in the
shortest of times.
Please take a few moments to read these instructions to get the most from the
table.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Unpack all of the components, leaving the glass facing
down on a protective layer (preferably still in the original
packaging). The stainless steel bosses should be facing up.
Remove studding and washers from legs.
2. Connect all the legs & crossbeams to the metal centre
piece. Ensure all the cross beams are bolted securely to the
centre piece.
3. Place the legs onto the stainless steel bosses, put studs
with centralising washers provided into legs and centre
piece and screw into bosses on the glass in a clockwise
direction.
4. When the studs are secure connect the foot bosses.
Screw these onto the studs as far as they will go. The lip of
the boss should be flush with the bottom of the leg.
5. Then carefully, using assistance as necessary, turn the
table over onto the legs by holding the glass only. This
minimizes stress on the legs and lift into final position.
The glass supplied is toughened to BS6206A for safety. In order to maximize this safety; please follow the following precautions.
1. Never drag the table - Always lift with assistance
2. Replace any damaged glass with that of identical
specification.
3. Never place heavy objects onto the table.
4. Use a suitable non-abrasive glass cleaner.
5. Take care when moving the table.
6. Take care in positioning the table.
7. Never place hot pans onto the table.
8. Avoid subjecting the table to impact.
9. Never sit or stand on the table.
10. The table is not suitable for rough use
11. Always lift the table by the glass to move it, never
drag it or lift by the legs.
12. In the unlikely event of breakage, a competent
person must clear thoroughly the area of sharp shards
of glass, which may cut.
