OPERATION
AUDIO INPUT
Turntable function (LP)
1. TurnonthepowerbyturningthePowerControlKnob(1)FromLeft
toRightposition.Then,tostartturntablefunction,turnontheturn
tablefunctionbystepupFunctionSwitch(14).
2. Setthespeedcontrolswitch(5)tothecorrectspeedofrecordyou
willbeplaying.
3. Placetherecordontheturntable,placetheSlipmatbeforeyouplace
therecord.
4. Liftingupthecuelever(8),movethetonearm(12)tothedesired
startingpointontherecord,thenlowerthetonearm(12).Therecord
willstartplaying.
5. Adjustthevolumecontrolknob(1)tothedesiredsoundlevel.

6. Slidetheautostopswitch(6)toONtooperatetheautostopfunction.
7. Attheendoftherecord,thetonearm(12)willstopautomatically.You
mustreturnthetonearmtothetonearmholdermanually.
8. Whennishedplayingtheturntable,pleaselockthetonearmholder
(7) by gently pushing to the left and protect the needle by inserting
thestylusguard.
Bluetooth Receiver Function (BT)
1. PressStepDownontheFunctionSwitch(4)tostarttheBluetooth
Inputfunction.
2. TheBluetoothindicator(4)ashesWhitewhileBluetoothisbegin
ningitssearch.
3. ActivatetheBluetoothfunctiononyourBluetoothdevice(seethede
vice’susermanual).
4. Select“DEAN”onyourdeviceforpairing.
5. Aftersuccessfulconnection,theBluetoothindicatorLED(4)will
turnstosolidwhite.
6. EnjoythemusicfromyourBluetoothdevice(MakesureDEANturn
table is connected with his Bookshelf Speakers or any external
SpeakerviaOutputJacks).
Aux-In function (LINE-IN) (17)
1. BeforeusethisAUXfunction,makesuretheFunctionSwitchisStep
UPpositionasTurntablemode.Thisconnectionisespeciallyuseful
in hooking up external devices to the Dean turntable and output with
eitherexternalstereospeakerthoughhisRCAline-out(15).
2. Hookoneendofthe3.5mmtothe3.5mmmini-plugcableintoAux-
injack(17).(Pleasenotethattheturntablefunctionwillbeimmediately
stopped when cable is connected) The other end will plug into the
audiooutputjackofyourdevice.(Formoreinformationonhooking
uptheexternaldevice,seethedeviceusermanual.)
OUTPUT
Line-out RCA (15)
Dual RCA to dual RCA cable - To connect the Dean turntable to Gadhouse
Bookshelf speakers or any external speakers system, plug the red and
white connectors on one end of the cable into the red and white line-out
jack(15)onthebackoftheDeanturntable.Theotherendofthecable
willplugintothestereoinputjacks(RCA)ofyourselectedcomponent
(seethecomponentusermanual).
Line-out 3.5mm (16)
1. ToconnecttheDeanturntabletoanyexternalspeakers(whichuses
a3.5mm),rstofallconnectthe3.5mmmini-plugcabletoLine-out
3.5mmjack(16)onthebackoftheDeanturntable.Theotherend
ofthecablewillplugintoAuxinputjack(3.5mmjack)ofyour
selectedcomponent(seethecomponentusermanual).
2. Toconnectanyearphones,headphonestoDEANturnable,rstof
allconnectthe3.5mmmini-plugcableofyourselecteddevice(see
thecomponentusermanual)toLine-in3.5mmjack(17)ontheback
oftheDeanturntable.

a wall outlet and plug the connector into

• Turn off the product, and then turn it on
again.
• EnsuretheVolumeControlKnob(1)is
turnedup.
• EnsuretheStylusguardisremoved.
• Checkthepositionoftheneedle(11)to
insure it has not shifted out of its proper
position.
• Ensure the speakers is connected with
DEAN Turntable
• Lowerthelifterlever.
• Make sure the replacing new needle is a
MovingMagnetCartridge(ATN3600LDual)
• Balance the Counter Weight probably
• Make sure the Speed Control Switch (5)
is correctly set for the record being played
(33⅓,45,or78RPM).(cancheckthe
speed on the record)
• Ensuretheturntableisonaat,level
surface.
• Clean the record with a Gadhouse Vinyl
Brush Carbon Fibre (check the product
from Gadhouse online store) to remove
build-upofdust&dirtinthegroovesof
therecordbeforeplaying.
• EnsuretheNeedle(11)isinthecorrect
position.
• EnsuretheNeedle(11)isnotbentorbroken
bylightlytouchingthetipoftheneedle.

Failure, such as the interruption of sound,
may be caused by radio wave interference
from devices that use the same frequency
band(2.4GHz)astheturntable,including
devices with Bluetooth wireless technology,
devices using wireless LAN, digital cord
lessphonesandmicrowaves.Similarly,
because radio waves of the turntable may
affect these devices, take the following
precautions:
- Install the devices using the same
frequencyband(2.4GHz)awayfrom
theturntable.
2.Anydevicewhichisconnectedtothe
turntable needs to meet the Bluetooth
standards established by Bluetooth SIG
andbecertied.Evenifthedevicemeets
the Bluetooth standards, it might not
connect to the turntable or the opera
tion method and behaviour may differ

To use the Joan Bookshelf Speakers as bookshelf speakers, the two
speakers need to be at the same hight as different heights of the speak-
