2. Safet y precaution
At tim e of delivery
- - Check packaging and dishwasher im m ediately for signs of transport dam age. I f
the appliance is dam aged, do not put it into use but cont act your supplier or
cust om er service wit hout delay.
- - Please dispose of packaging m at erials properly.
During inst allat ion
- - Site the dishwasher and connect it up in accordance with t he inst allat ion
inst ruct ions.
- - The dishwasher m ust not be connect ed to the elect ricit y supply while
inst allat ion is being carried out .
- - Ensur e t hat t he dom est ic w ir ing is proper ly ear t hed.
- - The m ains elect ricit y supply m ust confor m t o t he det ails shown on t he

- - Do not connect t he dishw ash er t o t he elect ricit y supply via an ex tension cable.
- - Built - under and built - in appliances should always be inst alled under a
cont inuous work surface which it is at t ached t o t he adj acent cupboards, in or der
to ensure that the appliance is ent irely st able.
- - Aft er t he appliance has been inst alled, t he m ains plug should st ill be easily
accessible.
- - Not on all m odels:
The plast ic housing on the wat er inlet contains an elect rically oper at ed v alve.
The connecting wires are inside the inlet hose. Do not cut t hrough this hose and
do not im m erse t he plast ic housing in wat er.
- - During inst allat ion, t he pow er supply cord m ust not be excessively or
dangerously bent or flattened.
During norm al use
- - The dishwasher m ust only be used by adult s for t he washing of household
dishes and cooking ut ensils.
- - This appliance cannot be inst alled out door , not even if t he area in which it is
inst alled is covered by a roof; it is also very dangerous t o leave it exposed t o the
rain and elem ents.
- - Do not place any heavy obj ect s or st and on t he door when it is open. The
appliance could t ip forward.
- - The wat er inside the dishwasher is not suit able for drinking.
- - Do not use solvent s of any kind inside your dishwasher. They could cause an
explosion danger.

4. How to keep your dishwasher in shape
After Every Wash
Aft er every wash, turn off t he wat er supply the appliance and leave t he door
slight ly aj ar so t hat m oist ure and odors are not trapped inside.
Rem ove t he plug
Before cleaning or perform ing m aint enance, always rem ove t he plug from t he
socket . Do not run risks.
No solvent s or Abrasiv e Cleaning Pr oduct s
To clean t he ext erior and rubber parts of the dishwasher, do not use solvent s or
abrasive cleaning product s. Rat her, use only a clot h and warm soapy water.
To rem ove spots or st ains from t he surface of the interior, use a clot h dam pened
wit h wat er and a lit tle while vinegar, or cleaning product m ade specifically for
dishwashers.
Mov ing t he Appliance
I f t he appliance m ust be m oved, try to keep it in a vert ical posit ion. I f absolut ely
necessary, it can be posit ioned on it s back.
Seals
One of t he fact ors that cause odors t o form i n t h e d i sh w a s h e r i s f o o d t h a t r e m a i n s
trapped in the seals.
Periodic cleaning wit h a dam p sponge will prevent this from occurring.
The door should not be left in the open posit ion since t his could
present a tripping hazard.
When You Go on Holiday
When you go on holiday, it is recom m ended that you run a wash cycle wit h t he
dishwasher em pt y and then rem ove t he plug from the socket , t urn off the wat er
supply and leave the door of t he appliance slight ly aj ar. This w ill help t he seals
last longer and prevent odors from form ing wit hin the appliance.

Resolving m inor problem s yourself
Experience has shown that you can resolve m ost problem s t hat rise during
norm al daily usage yourself, without having t o call out a service engineer.Not
only does t his save cost s,but it also m eans t hat the appliance is available for use
again that m uch sooner. The following list of com m on occurrences and t heir
rem edies should help you ident ify t he causes of m ost problem s.

I f you take all t hese checks and t he dishwasher st ill does not funct ion or your
dishwasher have any ot her error display, you can power the dishwasher OFF, and
wait a few m inutes. You can power t he dishwasher on, try it again , if the
dishwasher st ill does not funct ion and/ or the problem persist s, cont act the
nearest aut horised service cent er and provide t hem wit h the following
inform at ion:
- - t he nat ure of t he pr oblem .
- - t he m odel t y pe num ber ( Mod...) And t he ser ial num ber ( S/ N.. .) , w hich ar e
indicated on the plate locat ed on t he side of the inner part of t he door.
Lower spray arm rot at es with difficulty
- - Spray ar m is block ed by sm all it em s or food rem ains.
Lid in det ergent com partm ent cannot be closed
- - Det ergent com par tm ent has been ov er filled.
- - Mechanism is clogged w it h rem nants of det ergent.

foam ing during t he next washing cycle.
Appliance st ops suddenly while washing is t aking place
- - Cut off elect r icit y supply t o appliance.
- - Wat er supply has been int er rupt ed.
Knocking sound can be heared while washing is t aking place
A spray arm is knocking against t he dishes inside the appliance.

Crockery has not been st acked properly inside t he appliance.
Knocking sound com ing from inlet valves
This is caused by t he way t he wat er pipes have been laid and it has no effect upon
the way the appliance funct ions. There is no rem edy for this.
