INSTRUCTIONSFORUSE
Dearcustomer,thankyouforpurchasingourproduct.Keeptheseinstructionsincludingthe
warranty,thereceiptand,ifpossible,theboxwiththeinternalpacking.
I. SAFETY WARNING
GENERAL PROVISIONS:
–Considertheinstructionsforuseasapartoftheapplianceandpassthemontoanyother
useroftheappliance.
–Checkwhetherthedataonthetypelabelcorrespondwiththevoltageinyoursocket.The
powercordplughastobeconnectedtotheproperlyconnectedandgroundedsocket
accordingtothenationalstandard.
–
Thisappliancecanbeusedbychildrenagedfrom8yearsand
aboveandpersonswithreducedphysical,sensoryormental
capabilitiesorlackofexperienceandknowledgeiftheyhavebeen
givensupervisionorinstructionconcerninguseoftheappliancein
asafewayandunderstandthehazardsinvolved.Childrenshallnot
playwiththeappliance.Cleaningandusermaintenanceshallnot
bemadebychildrenwithoutsupervision.Childrenyoungerthan8
yearsmustbekeptoutofreachoftheapplianceanditspowercord.
–Beforereplacingaccessoriesoraccessibleparts,beforeassembly
anddisassembly,beforecleaningormaintenance,turnoffthe
applianceanddisconnectitfromthemainsbypullingthepower
cordfromthepowersocket!
– Pleasehandletheappliancewithcaresoastoavoidinjuries

–CAUTION –Donotusetheappliancewithaprogram,timeswitch
oranyotherpartthatturnstheapplianceonautomaticallyasthere

– Whentheapplianceisinoperation,preventpets,plantsorinsectstogetincontactwithit.
– Do not plug the fork of the supply cord into the power outlet and do not unplug the
cord with wet hands or by pulling by the supply cord!
–Whentheapplianceisswitchedonforthefirsttime,shortandslightsmokecancomeout
thatdoesnotmeananydefectanditisnotareasonforclaimingadefectoftheappliance.
–Donotplacetheapplianceonunstable,fragileorflammablesurfaces(e.g.glass, paper,
plastic, wooden varnished boards and various fabric/table cloths).
–Withregardstofiresafety,theappliancecomplieswithEN 60 335–2–6.Withinthe
intentionofthestandard,thisappliancecanbeoperatedonatableoronasimilarsurface
whilesafedistancemustbemaintainedfromflammablematerialsofatleast500 mmin
thedirectionofthemainheatradiationand100 mmintheotherdirections.
–Usethisapplianceonlyforthepurposeforwhichitwasdesignedasspecifiedinthis
user‘smanual.Neverusetheapplianceforanyotherpurpose.
–Theproducerdoesnotundertakeanyresponsibilityfordamagecausedbyimproperuse
oftheappliance(e.g.deterioration of food, injury, burning, scalding, fire, etc.)and
itsguaranteedoesnotcovertheapplianceinthecaseoffailuretocomplywiththesafety
warningabove.

USE OF THE APPLIANCE:
–Theapplianceisintendedforhomeuseandsimilar(inshops,officesandsimilar
workplaces,inhotels,motelsandotherresidentialenvironments,infacilitiesproviding
accommodationwithbreakfast).Itisnotintendedforcommercialuse!
– Never immerse the appliance into water (even its parts)!
–Theappliancemustnotbeusedindamporwetenvironmentandinanyenvironmentwith
thedangeroffireorexplosion(spaces where chemicals, fuels, oils, gases, paints and
other flammable or volatile materials are stored).
–Whenhandlingtheappliance,usethehandle.
–Usetheapplianceintheworkingpositiononlyatplaceswithnoriskofturningoverandin
sufficientdistancefromheatsources(e.g.heater, stove, cooker, oven, grill),flammable
objects(e.g.curtains, drapes, etc.)andwetsurfaces(e.g.sinks, wash basins, etc.).
–Spontaneousignitionofpreparedfoodmayoccurduringgrilling.Unplugtheappliance
fromthemainsandputoutthefireincaseofsuddenignition.
–Inordertoensuresafetyandproperfunctionoftheappliance,useonlyoriginalspare
partsandaccessoriesapprovedbythemanufacturer.
POWER CORD:
–Ifthepowercordoftheapplianceiscorrupted,ithastobereplaced
bythemanufacturer,itsservicetechnicianorasimilarlyqualified
personsoastopreventdangeroussituations.
–Neverusetheapplianceifitspowercordorplugisdamaged,ifit
doesnotworkproperly,ifitfelldownandwasdamagedorifitfellto
water.Inthiscasetaketheappliancetoaspecialservicetocheck
itssafetyandproperfunction.
–Neverputthepowercordonhotsurfacesordonotletithangovertheedgeofatableor
aworktop.Pluggingorpullingthepowercorde.g.bychildrencanresultintiltingoveror
drawingtheappliancedownandseriousinjury!
–Thepowercordmustnotbedamagedwithsharporhotobjects,openfire,itmustnotbe
sunkintowaterorbentoversharpedges.
II. DESCRIPTION OF THE APPLIANCE (Fig. 1)

III. PREPARATION FOR USE
Removeallthepackingmaterialandtakeoutthetoaster.Removeallpossibleadhesion
foils,stick-onlabelsorpaperfromthetoaster.Afterthefirstputtingintooperationandletan
„open“toasterinoperationwithawindowopenforabout10minutes,thenturnitoffandlet
itcooldown.Aftertheappliancecoolsdown,swipethepartsthatcomeincontactwithfood
withasoft,wetandcleanclothorapapertowel.
IV. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Placetheassembledapplianceonaat,steady,smoothandcleansurfaceataheightofat
least85cm.Leaveenoughspacetoensuresu󰀩cientventilation.

Signal lights

GREEN ON TheplatesA5haveanoptimumtemperature.
OFF TheplatesA5arewarmingup.
Note
The green indicator will alternate between on/off during preparation, as the thermostat
automatically maintains an optimum temperature. The red indicator is on steadily
throughout the preparation period.
Preparation process
1. Connecttheappliancetothemains.
2. Thisactivatesthesignallightsandtheplatesstartwarmingup.Waittilltheplatesare
sufficientlywarm.
3. ReleasethesafetycatchA4andopenthelid.
4. PutthepreparedfoodonthebottomplateA5,closethelidandsecureitwiththelockA4.
5. Whenthepreparationiscomplete,openthelidandremovethefood
(usinge.g.awooden spatula).
6. Unplugtheappliancefromthemains.
V. MAINTENANCE
Clean the toaster only when it has cooled down! Cleantheapplianceregularlyafter
eachuse.Donotuseroughandaggressivedetergents(e.g.sharp objects, peelers,
caustic agents for cleaning ovens, or other solvents).Donotuseanypressure-cleaning
appliance(e.g.dishwasher, WAP, steam cleaners)!Cleanthesurfacebywipingitwith
asoftandwetcloth.Itisnormalthatthecolourofthesurfacechangesinthecourseoftime.
Thischangedoesnotchangethefeaturesofthesurfaceinanywayandthusisnot
areasonforsalesreturnoftheappliance!
More extensive maintenance or maintenance requiring intervention in the inner parts
of the appliance must be carried out by professional service!
Failure to comply with the instructions of the manufacturer will lead to expiration
of the right to guarantee repair!
