PRE-PROGRAMMING CHECKLIST
The gate hinges are in
good condition and are
suitably lubricated.
The gate leafs swing
freely and are clear
of obstruction
The gate has mechanical
stops in both the open and
closed positions.
Before programming the Q80A Control Panel, ensure the gate leafs, hinges and
mechanicals stops are in good order –and the leafs can operate free of obstruction.
IMPORTANT: If programming a single-leaf swing gate – the following setting must be enabled

4Navigate to CC on the control board and complete the C1 set up function (see
below) – the motors will nd their stopping points, then complete a full cycle
3Partially open the gates using the manual
release key – once half open lock-in the motors
1Power Up the board
2Using the programme settings, navigate to PP (see page 28) – Set P1/2/3 to 0
(zero) to disable all stop functions

5You can now programme radio remotes through the AA settings (see page 12)

6You should now enable the photocells – P2 for Closing (primary) P3 for Opening (additional
set inside the property)
7The motors are now ready for ne tuning (Torque Settings, page 17 & Obstacle Detection,
page 18) in accordance with you gate dimensions and weight
