ItisVERYimportanttohaveproperclearancebetween
yourGatorJawnandthepolewhenslidingitonor
adjustingitspositiononthepole.
TIP: RotatingthepoleslightlywhilemovingtheGator
Jawn’spositionwillhelpbreakthegripandallowtheJawn
tomovefreelywhile preventingthehighlygrippingnature
oftheadhesivepadsfromrollingintotheGatorJawn
assembly.
2.TheAdhesiveFoamPadshaveSUPERgrippingpower
againstthemetalpole.Fullyloosenthewingnuts,and
gentlytwistthepoletoinserttotherecommended
positioninStep5.

STEP5P–Secureyourpop‐uptenttolandscapes
A. Pleasefollowthefirsttimesetupinstructionsonpage2,Step1S ifthisisyourfirst
timesettingupyourPop‐uptenttoYard,Grass,Desert,gravelorBeach
landscapes.
B. ThestartingheightpositionofyourGatorJawns’onthePop‐uplegsforDeck
attachmentisdifferentthanthestartingpositionsforLandscapes.Thisisdueto
thedifferentanchoringmechanismswhicharedesignedformaximumhold.The
DeckAnchorscansupportadirectverticalpullwhiletheGroundStakesutilizethe
anglestheyareinsertedatwiththelowerheightpositionoftheGatorJawnto
createa90degreepullforceformaximumhold.
C. Once the Gator Jawns have been pre‐assembled and
attached to your Pop‐up tent legs, lower the Jawns to
the Starting Position 10‐12” from the ground to the
bottom of the Gator Jawns as shown, turning the
wing nuts to hold in place but DO NOT TIGHTEN
yet, this is not the final position.
D. Pulling a ground stake from its storage
holder, extend the ground stake with
the attached cord out away from the
leg with the tip of the stake at a
45 to 60 degree angle pointing inward
directly towards the Pole / Leg.
The ground stake loop will want to rotate into the correct position with the loop
facing the pole / Leg.
E. Loosenthewingnuts,LifttheGatorJawnslidingitupwhileholdingthePop‐up
legdown‐ itwillself‐center.PullingtheJawnupward,tightentheWingnuts
butDONOTOVERTIGHTEN.
F. RepeatfortheotherJawnsoneachleg.EnjoyaworryfreesecuredPop‐up.

nuts.Allincludedlifetimewarrantycomponentswillberepairedorreplaced,atour
discretion.GatorJawnproductsandorcoveredcomponentsfoundtobedefectivein
materialsorworkmanshipmusthaveproofofpurchasetotheoriginalpurchaserwiththe

Corrosion,oxidizationandordiscolorationofmetalpartsandorfadingoftheNylonsolid
braidedanchorcord,deckanchorcomponentsandgroundstakes,ordiscolorationsofany
kindarenotcoveredasacceptableclaimsforwarranty.Allmetalcomponentsaresurface
treatedcorrosionresistanceandshouldberinsedwithfreshwaterafterusetoprevent
buildupofoxidizations.Properstorageofyourproductawayfromthedirectimpactsof
excessiveexposureswhennotinuseisrecommendedtopreventpremature
discolorationsorfading.
ImproperapplicationanduseoftheadhesivepadsandovertighteningoftheNylonwing
nutstosecuretheGatorJawntothepoleitem(s)areconsideredconsumableand
