3SELECTTHE CYCLE
@POJ$’ER SCRUB cycle is designed to remove DRIED-
ON and BAKED-ON soils. These soils will be remo~.ed
from utens ils that are in good condition if you follow
load ing and operating instructions carefully. It is es-
ix’cia}l} important to load items ~ith heavy! ~R~~~-ON
or B.AKB;D-ON soils such as pots. pans and casseroles,
open end downin the lower rack facing directly toward
the IOJ{er wash arm. In this position the items willreceive
the rno+t \’igorous wash action for maximum soil removal.
AS }OLIwould expect. severely BURNED-ON soiis occa-
>ioriall} may not he completely remo~’ed. especially if the
@RINSE& HOLD cycle should be selected when you have
only apartial !oad and plan to wuit until the dishwasher
is filled before washing, DO NOT USE DETERGENT IN
THE RINSE &HOLD CYCLE.
NOTE: After using the RINSE &HOLD cycle, be sure
you select the desired wash cycle for the next load you
are going to wash,

heater is disconnected tQ save electrical energy and allow
the dishes to dry by their own heat over time, This option
is best used when the dishes are washed at night and can
remain in the dishwasher until the next morning. Natural
drying time will be reduced if you prop open the dishwash-
er door about 3inches at top after the cycle is complete.
Use of this option reduces the electrical energy used by
this model approximately 890.
Estimated yearly savings, depending on your local electric
rates, are as follows:

4STARTYOURDISHWASHER
If your dishwasher drains into afood waste disposer, run
the disposer untii it is completely empty before starting
the di~hwasher.
To start the dishwasher, close the door and move the door
latch to the right to the locked position. Then push the
control dial in.
For SHORT WASH cycle: Slowly rotate dial clockwise
to SHORT WASH position on dial. Then push the con-
troi dial in. This option saves you time and hot water, and
may be used when dishes are not heavily soiled.
