HEAVY FABRICS –(Usewith selectionAor B)
For items that absorbagreat deal of moisture and take
longerto dry, suchas bath mats, bed spreads,shagrugs,
thick knitted cottons,dungareesandheavywork clothes.
MEDIUM FABRICS –(Usewith selectionAor B)
This isthe mostoften usedsettingbecauseit providesauto-
matic drying for most cottons, !inensand medium-weight
permanent press items. This setting should be used for
thoseitemsthat absorbanaverageamountof moisture.
LIGHT FABRICS –(Usewith selectionBor C)
For delicatefabrics,syntheticsand light-weightpermanent
pressitems.
POLYESTER KNITS
AUTOMATIC CYCLES
(Usewith selectionB)
For drying polyester knit fabrics and de-wrinkling syn-
theticsand blends.
TIMED CYCLES –(Usewith selectionA, Cor D)
Thesecyclesshould be usedwhen you want to dry for a
specific amount of time or where possiblyalow heat or
no heat fluff is desired. Simply set the Cycle Selector
to the amountof dryingtime desired.
WHAT [S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AUTOMATIC &TIMED DRYING?
AUTOMATIC IMWNG
When usingthe Automatic Cycles,the Automatic Electronic
Control system continually sensesmoisture in the tumbling
clothes,determineswhen they are dried to your pre-selected
setting, and terminatesthe cycle automatically. Refer to the
CONTROLS SETTING GUIDE on the ‘backpage,for recom-
mended settings.Tho Cycle Selector will not advanceuntil
clotheshavereachedacertaindegreeof dryness.
TIMED DRYING
The TIMED CYCLES are availablefor drying specialloads
or delicate loads where possiblealow heat or no heat is
required. They may also be usedwhen you haveaload that
you wishto dry for aspecificamountof time. Whenusingthe
TIMED CYCLES, you selectthe numberof minutesyou wish
the dryer to run andit turnsoff at the endof thistime period.

When only aportion of aclothes load is to be damp dried, set the Cycle Selector in the time zone according to the above guide, and start the Dryer.
After the Dryer stops, remove the clothes to be ironed then reset the Cycie Selector for drying of the remalnlng items and push the START button.
*When drying smali loads under 3pounds, you may obtain more satisfactory resuits by pushingthe “Permanent Press&Polyester #(nits’r button.

if you push“on” button, abuzzerwill soundjust beforecompletionof the cycleto alertyouthat
your garmentsare readyto be removed.if PermanentPressor PolyesterKnitsgarmentsarebeing
dried,they shouldberemovedimmediatelyto helppreventthe settingof wrinkles.
Pushingthe “off” button or advancingCycleSelectorto an “off” areawill terminatethe sound.
Push“off’ if youdo not wishfor buzzerto sound.
WhetTusingthe EXTRA CARE feature,the SIGNAL mustbesetto the “ON” position. . .

To minimizewrinklessetin the clothes,the EXTRA CARE featureprovidescontinuous,no-heat
tumbiingafter thegarmentsaredry.

During this time abuzzerwill soundat 5-minute intervalsto remindyou to removethe clothes
from the dryer.
