88771 – Wrist Tool Lanyard-2lb (S/M)

GEARWRENCH Wrist Tool Lanyards are only intended for use as part of a tool tethering system and use with tools meeting the
following specifications:
- Total tool weight under 2 lbs. (0.9kg)
- Tool includes a manufactured drilled tether through hole that the corded loop can be cinched to
- If tool does not include a manufactured tether through hole, a closed handled tool (for example found on scissors) that
the corded loop can be cinched to
Installation for closed handled tools
1. Weigh the tool to be used with the Wrist Tool Lanyard. The tool weight must be below the Wrist Tool Lanyard maximum working
load capacity of 2 lbs. (0.9kg)
2. Ensure the cinching of the Wrist Tool Lanyard to the tool will not interfere with the safe working condition of the tool
3. With the corded end of the Wrist Tool Lanyard pass the cord through the handle of the tool
4. Pass the wristband end of the Wrist Tool Lanyard through the loop of the cord
5. To create a secure connection pull tightly to cinch, and the connection point will be created
Installation for tools with existing pre-manufactured tether through holes
1. Weigh the tool to be used with the Wrist Tool Lanyard. The tool weight must be below the Wrist Tool Lanyard maximum working
load capacity of 2 lbs. (0.9kg)
2. Ensure the cinching of the Wrist Tool Lanyard to the tool will not interfere with the safe working condition of the tool
3. With the corded end of the Wrist Tool Lanyard pass the cord through the tether through hole of the tool
4. Pass the wristband end of the Wrist Tool Lanyard through the loop of the cord
5. To create a secure connection pull tightly to cinch, and the connection point will be created
WARNINGS:
- NEVER use GEARWRENCH Wrist Tool Lanyard to connect anything over 2 lbs. (0.9kg)
- GEARWRENCH Wrist Tool Lanyard are Not Personal Protective Equipment
- Always use GEARWRENCH Wrist Tool Lanyard with the recommended length of tethering accessories
- Do not use GEARWRENCH Wrist Tool Lanyard as part of a tethering system around moving or rotating equipment
- GEARWRENCH Wrist Tool Lanyard will not support human weight as part of a tether connection point
- Inspect GEARWRENCH Wrist Tool Lanyard for wear before each use. Do not use if evidence of wear.

Les bracelets à longe pour outil GEARWRENCH sont prévus comme élément d’un système de retenue à utiliser avec des outils qui
répondent aux caractéristiques suivantes :
- Poids total de l’outil de moins de 0.9 kg (2 lb).
- L’outil est doté d’un trou percé en usine pour retenue auquel la boucle peut être serrée.
- Si l’outil n’est pas doté d’un trou percé en usine pour retenue, un outil à manche fermé (par exemple sur des ciseaux) sur
lequel la boucle peut être serrée
Installation pour les outils à manche fermé :
1. Peser l’outil qui sera utilisé avec le bracelet à longe. Le poids de l’outil doit être inférieur à la charge utile maximale du bracelet à
longe de 0.9 kg (2 lb).
2. S’assurer que le serrement du bracelet à longe sur l’outil ne nuit pas au fonctionnement sécuritaire de celui-ci.
3. Avec l’extrémité à cordon du bracelet à longe, passer le cordon par le manche de l’outil.
4. Passer le bracelet de la longe par la boucle.
5. Pour créer une bonne attache, tirer fermement pour serrer et le point de liaison sera créé.
Installation pour les outils avec trous percés en usine pour sangle de retenue :
1. Peser l’outil qui sera utilisé avec le bracelet à longe. Le poids de l’outil doit être inférieur à la charge utile maximale du bracelet à
longe de 0.9 kg (2 lb).
2. S’assurer que le serrement du bracelet à longe sur l’outil ne nuit pas au fonctionnement sécuritaire de celui-ci.
3. Avec l’extrémité à cordon du bracelet à longe, passer le cordon par le trou de l’outil.
4. Passer le bracelet par la boucle à cordon.
5. Pour créer une bonne attache, tirer fermement pour serrer et le point de liaison sera créé.
AVERTISSEMENTS :
- Ne JAMAIS utiliser de bracelet à longe GEARWRENCH pour attacher tout article pesant plus de 0.9 kg (2 lb).
- Le bracelet à longe GEARWRENCH n’est pas un équipement de protection personnelle.
- Utiliser toujours le bracelet à longe GEARWRENCH avec la longueur recommandée d’accessoires d’attache.
- Ne pas utiliser le bracelet à longe GEARWRENCH comme élément d’un système de retenue autour d’un équipement
mobile ou rotatif.
- Le bracelet à longe GEARWRENCH ne supportera pas le poids d’une personne comme élément d’un point de liaison
d’attache.
- Inspecter le bracelet à longe GEARWRENCH avant chaque usage pour détecter toute trace d’usure. Ne pas utiliser en cas
de trace d’usure.

GEARWRENCH Muñeca cuerda de amarre para herramientas solo está diseñada para ser utilizada como parte de un sistema de
amarre y con herramientas que cumplen las especificaciones siguientes:
- Peso total de la herramienta menor a 2 lb (0.9kg).
- La herramienta incluye un orificio perforado de fábrica para pasar un cordón de amarre al que se puede sujetar el bucle
de cordón
- si la herramienta no incluye un orificio perforado de fábrica por el que se pueda pasar el cordón de amarre, (por
ejemplo, el que tienen las tijeras) al que se pueda sujetar el bucle de cordón.
Instalación para herramientas de mango cerrado
1. Pese la herramienta que utilizará con la Muñeca cuerda de amarre para herramientas. El peso de la herramienta debe estar por
debajo de la capacidad máxima de carga de trabajo de la Cuerda de amarre con mosquetón de 2 lb (0.9kg).
2. Asegúrese de que la sujeción de la Muñeca cuerda de amarre para herramientas a la herramienta no interfiera con la condición
de trabajo segura de la herramienta.
3. Con el extremo de cordón de la Muñeca cuerda de amarre para herramientas, pase la cuerda a través del mango de la
herramienta.
4. Pase el extremo de la muñeca de la Muñeca cuerda de amarre para herramientas a través del bucle de la cuerda.
