
To operate, ensure the unit is plugged in and switched on at a suitable power point. Point the remote control at your
Zapper and push the ON button briefly. To switch off, point the remote control at your Zapper and push the OFF
button briefly. Ensure the remote control is stored in a cool, dry place. Do not leave it in direct sunlight or in a hot

(> 30 C) environment for extended periods, as this may cause the unit to fail and void its warranty. Use 12V
Alkaline battery 23A.
Wait 1 minute before starting to clean. Do not remove protective grid cover when the appliance is connected to
mains power supply.
Remove bottom tray by sliding outwards (Figure 2) and empty dead insects from the tray. If needed use supplied
cleaning brush. As the high voltage grid is a vertical design, it should require minimal cleaning. For optimal
performance, it’s recommended that the unit is inspected and cleaned if necessary once per week. Do not use
metal objects or stick fingers through outer casing. Regularly clean the outside of the appliance with a soft damp
cloth and dry it with a towel. Do not immerse in water. Do not use harsh solvents to clean the plastic.
