IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using your equipment, basic safety precautions should
always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and
injury, including the following:
1.Do not place this product on unstable shelves, stands, tables
or other surfaces.
2.Do not use the motion extension ringer in the following areas
that may cause deformation, malfunction, or operational
failure:
zUnder direct sunlight.
zAreas exposed to grease or steam, such as kitchens.
zNear fire or heating devices.
zAreas subject to extreme temperature changes, such as next
to air conditioners.
zAreas with IR-opaque or reflective objects that can block IR
energy that are needed for detection.
zAreas where the temperature is affected by strong illuminating
objects (such as halogen lights).
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
WHAT’S IN THE BOX
Your product package contains the following items. Save your
sales receipt and original packaging in the event warranty
service is necessary.
EXTENSION RINGER OVERVIEW
1. Flash LED (white)
zFlashes when receiving an incoming call, or when the
registered devices are triggered.
2. Loud speaker
3. LED indicators ( )
zGreen when the extension ringer is powered on.
zRed when the battery is low.
zAmber while checking signal strength.
4. Side switch Keys
_ Slide to switch between the ringer volumes
(low, medium, or high).
_Slide to switch between the alert modes
(flash only ( ), melody only ( ),
flash & melody ( ), or all off ( )).
_ Slide to switch between three doorbell melodies.
5. PAIR button ( )
zPress and hold for 5 seconds to enter the pairing mode.

BEFORE USE
Batteries installation (purchased separately)
1. Push downward to remove the battery compartment cover
at the back.
2. Install three AA batteries into the battery compartment,
matching the polarity markings (+ and -) inside the battery
compartment.
Power on the extension ringer
Plug the small end of the power adapter to the power jack on
the extension ringer, and the large end to the wall jack.

ADD AND REGISTER A EXTENSION RINGER
Add your new Ringer595 U.L.E extension ringer to your
telephone base. You only need to register if this is an
additional ringer that is seperate to the ringer included in your
pack. Your new extension ringer must be registered with the
AMPLIDECTTM595 U.L.E telephone base before use.
Register the extension ringer:
1. Make sure the extension ringer is powered on with batteries
or DC power before registering it to the telephone base.
2. Press and hold hanset locator key on the telephone
base until it starts to beep.
3. Press and hold the pair button (5) on the side of
the extension ringer until the Green Flash LED (3)
light flashes.
4. You will hear confirmation beeps when the extension ringer
is successfully registered to the base.
Replacing a extension ringer:
If you have purchased this new Ringer595 U.L.E accessory
extension ringer to replace an old extension ringer, you must
deregister the registered extension ringer first, and then
register this new extension ringer to your AMPLIDECTTM595
U.L.E telephone base.
GENERAL PRODUCT CARE
Taking care of your extension ringer
Your extension ringer contains sophisticated electronic and
optical parts, so it must be treated with care.
Avoid rough treatment
Place the extension ringer down gently. Save the original
packing materials to protect your extension ringer if you ever
need to ship it.
Avoid water
Your extension ringer can be damaged if it gets wet. Do not use
the extension ringer outdoors in the rain, or handle it with wet
hands. Do not install the extension ringer near a sink, bathtub
or shower.
Electrical storms
Electrical storms can sometimes cause power surges harmful
to electronic equipment. For your own safety, take caution
when using electrical appliances during storms.
Cleaning your extension ringer
Your extension ringer has a durable plastic casing that should
remain in good condition for many years. Clean it only with a
dry non-abrasive cloth. Do not use a dampened cloth or
cleaning solvents of any kind.
STORAGE
When you are not going to use the extension ringer for some
time, remove the battery from the extension ringer. Store the
extension ringer in a cool and dry place.
