while the extenders give the user control over a computer up to 330 feet
away from the work area.

Introduction
The USB Switcher switches VGA, USB and Audio
between any combination of two computers.
Now you can switch easily and reliably between any combination
of two computers using only one VGA display monitor, USB keyboard
and mouse.
The USB Switcher saves space – there’s no need to work on a desk
crowded with double monitors, keyboards and mouse devices. It saves time –
there’s no need to move from one monitor to another to access different
computers. And it saves money – there’s no need to purchase additional
monitors, mouse devices, keyboards etc.
The USB Switcher allows you to choose between the Macintosh or PC
USB keyboard/video/mouse combination.
Warranty
Gefen Inc. warrants the equipment it manufactures to be free from defects
in material and workmanship. If equipment fails because of such defects
and Gefen Inc. is notified within one (1) year from the date of shipment,
Gefen Inc. will, at its option, repair or replace the equipment, provided
that the equipment has not been subjected to mechanical, electrical, or
other abuse or modifications. Equipment that fails under conditions other
than those covered will be repaired at the current price of parts and
labor in effect at the time of the repair. Such repairs are warranted for
ninety (90) days from the day of re-shipment to the Buyer.
This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied,
including without limitation, any implied warranty or merchantability or
fitness for any particular purpose, all of which are expressly disclaimed.
The information in this manual has been carefully checked and is

How to connect the
USB Switcher to your computers
1- Connect the cable from your first computer into the Video 1, USB and
Audio connection in the back of the USB Switcher.
2- Connect the cable from your second computer into the Video 2, USB
and Audio connection in the back of the USB Switcher.
3- Connect the monitor to the Video Out connection.
4- Plug the 12v power supply into the USB Switcher.
5- Plug the 12v wallmount power supply into the wall outlet.
6- Start your computers only after you’ve made all the connections.
7- Press select, to switch between Computer 1 and Computer 2 or
switch remotely using the optional contact closure remote control.
Note:
It is recommended that you are selected to the computer that is booting up.
