Introduction
The 4x1 DVI Switcher switches DVI, USB and Audio
between any combination of four computers.
Now you can switch easily and reliably between any combination
of four computers using only one or two DVI displays, USB keyboard
and mouse.
The 4x1 DVI Switcher saves space – there’s no need to work on a desk
crowded with four monitors, keyboards and mouse devices. It saves time –
there’s no need to move from one monitor to another to access different
computers. And it saves money – there’s no need to purchase additional
monitors, mouse devices, keyboards etc.
The 4x1 DVI Switcher allows you to choose between any combination of
Macintosh or PC computers.
Warranty
Gefen Inc. warrants the equipment it manufactures to be free from defects
in material and workmanship. If equipment fails because of such defects
and Gefen Inc. is notified within one (1) year from the date of shipment,
Gefen Inc. will, at its option, repair or replace the equipment, provided
that the equipment has not been subjected to mechanical, electrical, or
other abuse or modifications. Equipment that fails under conditions other
than those covered will be repaired at the current price of parts and
labor in effect at the time of the repair. Such repairs are warranted for
ninety (90) days from the day of re-shipment to the Buyer.
This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied,
including without limitation, any implied warranty or merchantability or
fitness for any particular purpose, all of which are expressly disclaimed.
The information in this manual has been carefully checked and is

How to connect the
4x1 DVI Switcher to your computers
1- Connect your computers DVI to the 4x1 DVI Switcher inputs using the
supplied cables.
2- Connect your computers USB and audio to the 4x1 DVI Switcher
inputs using the supplied cables.
3- Connect your DVI monitor to DVI Out 1 (DVI Out 2 is a mirror of DVI Out 1).
4- Connect your USB and audio devices to the USB and audio outputs.
5- Connect the RMT-4 remote control (if applicable).
5- Plug the 12v power supply into the 4x1 DVI Switcher.
5- Plug the 12v wallmount power supply into the wall outlet.
6- Turn on your computers one at a time, making sure that the 4x1 DVI
Switcher is selected to the computer that is booting up. After one
computer completes the startup process, you can boot up the second
computer and so on.
