Driver installation under Windows98SE/ME/ 000
and Windows XP
•Start the operating system mentioned abo e
•Insert the dri er CD into your CD-ROM dri e. The setup
should start automatically. If by any reason it does not,
double click the f ile "Setup EXE" from the CD
•Follow instructions on the screen to complete the setup
successfully
Now connect the product (with HDD installed) to your
computer.
Driver installation under Mac OS
If your operating system is Mac OS 8.6 or abo e the dri er will be
installed automatically. If you are running an older ersion of OS
you will ha e to f irst download and setup "USB MASS STORAGE
SUPPORT 1.3.5" from the SOFTWARE SUPPORT website:
http://www.apple.com/support

Warning: Before you disconnect the EE2-SATA-1 from your
system, you should always perform the following procedure:
•Click the icon with your right mouse button
•Choose "Safely remo e hardware" from the popup menu
•After your conf irmation the message "Storage de ice can
now be safely remo ed from the system" will appear.
Only now you can disconnect the EE2-SATA-1 from the computer!
