Hardwareinstallation
Toinstall thefax-modemitisassumedthatyoushouldhavesomebasicexperience in
installingthehardwareandsoftwareonPC.Incaseofdifficulties,please,contactaqualified
persontohelp youwiththeinstallation.

Toinstallthefax-modem,pleasefollowthestepsbelow:
1. Turnyourcomputerand all externaldevicesconnectedtoit off.
2. Disconnect yourcomputerfromthepowersource.
3. Openthecomputercase.
4. Find afree PCIslot onthemotherboard,removetheslot cover.Keep thescrew.
5. Carefullyinsertthefax-modemintothechosenslot.Pressfirmlybutgentlyonthetop
ofthemodemtoinsert it.Fastenthefaxmodemwiththescrew tothecase.
6. Closethecomputercase.PlugthetelephonecableintotheLinejackofthe
fax-modem.Yourtelephonecanbeconnected tothePhonejack.SwitchyourPCon.
Softwareinstallation
•UnderWindows95/98/ME/XP/2000 thedriversforthemodemwill beinstalled
automatically.Whenpromptedfordrivers,please,insertCDwithdrivers intothe
CD-ROM driveofyourcomputerand let theWizard lookforthedriversontheCD.
