GENERAL MAINTENANCE
RECOMMENDATIONS
The warranty of the high pressure washer oes not
cover items that have been subjecte to operator
abuse or negligence. To receive full value from the
warranty, operator must maintain high pressure
washer as instructe in this manual.
Some a justments will nee to be ma e
perio ically to properly maintain your high pressure
washer.
All a justments in the Service an A justments
section of the engine owners manual shoul be
ma e at least once each season.
Once a year you shoul clean or replace the spark
plug, clean or replace the air filter an check the
gun an wan assembly for wear. A new spark plug
an clean air filter assure proper fuel-air mixture
an help your engine run better an last longer.
BEFORE EACH USE
Check engine oil level.
Check water inlet screen for amage.
Check high pressure hose for leaks.
Check etergent inlet hose an filter for amage.
Check gun an wan assembly for leaks.

MAINTENANCE
Check and Clean Inlet Screen
Examine screen on the water inlet. Clean if the
screen is clogge or replace if screen is amage .
Check High Pressure Hose
High pressure hose can evelop leaks from wear,
kinking, or abuse. Inspect hose each time before
using it. Check for cuts, leaks, abrasions or bulging of
cover, amage or movement of couplings. If any of
these con itions exist, replace hose imme iately.
DANGER: Water spraying from a leak is
capable of injecting material into skin.
Inspect hose each time before using it.
Never repair a high pressure hose. Replace
it with another hose that meets the
maximum pressure rating of your pressure
washer.
Check Detergent Hose
Examine the filter on the etergent hose an clean if
clogge . Hose shoul fit tightly on barbe fitting.
Examine hose for leaks or tears. Replace the filter or
hose if either is amage .
Check Gun and Wand
Examine hose connection to gun an make sure it is
secure. Test trigger by pressing it an making sure it
springs back into place when you release it. Put safety
latch in on position an test trigger. You shoul not be
able to press trigger.
Purge Pump of Air and
Contaminants
To remove the air from the pump, follow these
steps:
Set up the pressure washer as escribe in the
ASSEMBLY section an connect the water supply.
Remove the ual lance from the gun.
Squeeze the trigger on the gun an hol .
To remove any contaminants from the pump,
follow these steps:
Set up the pressure washer as escribe in the
ASSEMBLY section, an connect the water supply.
Remove the ual lance from the spray gun.
Start the engine accor ing to instructions in
OPERATION section.
Squeeze the trigger on the spray gun an hol .
When the water supply is stea y an constant,
engage the safety latch an refasten the ual lance.
Cleaning Chemical Injector Hose
If you have use the chemical injector hose you must
flush it with clean water before stopping the engine.
To clean the chemical injector hose:
Place the small filter en of the chemical injector
hose in a bucket of clean water.
Open the chemical valve han le fully on the lance
by turning it counterclockwise. This puts the gun in
low pressure.
Squeeze the spray gun trigger for 1 - 2 minutes to
flush the chemical injector hose.
Shut off the engine.
Important: Simply shutting OFF engine will not release
pressure in the system. When engine has shut
down, squeeze the trigger on the gun to relieve the
pressure in the hose.
