Automatic Infrared Thermometer
INTRODUCTION
The TempZAP™ Automatic Infrared Thermometer with 12 to 1 distance-to-sight ratio and
temperature alarm offers fast response and high accuracy. Advanced features include high and
low temperature alerts, adjustable temperature alert limit, 100 memory bank, automatic
temperature readings, auto power-off. Careful use of this meter will provide years of reliable
service.
The TempZAP™ Automatic Infrared Thermometer is the ultimate in convenient, safe, accurate,
and fast temperature monitoring. The provided tripod stand makes setup and placement of the
thermometer very easy and convenient.

USE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Unbox the TempZAP™ Thermometer and insert two (2) AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment [8], or
connect the TempZAP Thermometer to a USB power source using the included USB cable.
2. Hang the TempZAP Thermometer on a wall using the provided wall installation kit, or install TempZAP Thermometer to the
included tripod as follows:
a. remove the plastic screw protector on top of the tripod
b. connect the tripod screw to the ¼ inch connector [9] at the bottom of the TempZAP thermometer.
3. Turn the TempZAP Thermometer on by toggling the ON/OFF switch [10] to the left.
NOTE: For first time use, allow the TempZAP Thermometer to equilibrate to the place of use for about 30 minutes.
4. When a person approaches the TempZAP Thermometer at 6 inches (15 cm) or closer, the unit will turn on (if it was in power-
saving mode) and will be ready to take temperature within 1-2 seconds.
5. To take a person’s temperature, put forehead or wave hand at 3 inches (8 cm) or less.
6. The TempZAP Thermometer will automatically display the temperature and give a voice command as follows:

7. Screen display guide:
BUTTON FUNCTIONS
1. Short press the Voice on/off Switch [1] to toggle between voice or silent; long press this button to clear the memory.
2. To review stored temperatures, use the page down [2] or page up [3] to move up or down the memory slots.
3. Short press the °F/°C button [4] to toggle between Fahrenheit or Celsius; long press this button (5 seconds) to toggle between
English and Chinese voice command languages.
4. To change temperature alert settings, simultaneously press the Voice on/off Switch [1] and the °F/°C button [4]
a. F1 will appear shortly, followed by the high temperature alert default of:”37.3 C” (99.14°F)
b. To change this value, use the Page Down [2] or Page Up [3] buttons;
c. Press the °F/°C button [4] to exit.
