1. LSX4100 System Cleaning and Maintenance
1) Preventative Maintenance Safety instructions
- During the PM, turn off the kiosk.
- Only use recommended tools, test tools and cleaning tools.
- Before starting the PM, check if there is any module being turned off.
- Solenoid and mainboard can have high temperature.
2) Cleaning and maintenance
- In operation, clean dust and debris inside of the kiosk every six months.
- When removing dust, use vacuum to suck in the dust and debris.
- When blow the dust out, dust can get into the modules like card reader, CDU, and coin hopper, so dust can cause
an issue.
‘● PM period: Every 6 months
▶Pull RPU, Hopper, CPCDU, Bill Accepter shelfs to clean behind(back) of the shelfs.

2. LSX4100 Each UNIT Cleaning and Maintenance
- When proceeding the maintenance, check out LSK2500 System Cleaning and Maintenance Safety instruction and
execute the cleaning and maintenance.
2.1 CPCDU
1) Cleaning tools

3) CPCDU Cleaning Method (4 High)
- Check Sensors with your eyes, and remove dust using vacuum machine and brush.

remove dust using vacuum machine and

▶Open the cover of Stacker, and remove
dust using vacuum machine and brush
▶Remove Reject Box and
Cassette1~4from CDU

▶Remove all dust where reject box and cassettes are connected to CDU and put CDU back to original
position and remove dust at the bottom of the kiosk.

2.2 RPU
1) Clean TPH area where prints the paper every 12 months.
2) Clean and remove dust in the TPH area and on the Roller using Air Blower and paper towel.
3) Maintenance
(1) Open the printer with putting green lever dow
(2) As shown below, remove dust and debris. (a –TPH, b –Roller)

2.3 MSRW
1) Clean inside of MSRW using cleaning card
2) Insert cleaning card into the card entrance to clean Feed Roller and spin Pulley Feed MS clockwise to let the cleaning
card clean the inside of the MSRW. Repeat five times and take it out.
3) Cleaning procedure
■Insert Cleaning Card to the entrance
■Insert Cleaning Card (CR80 –Purchase separately) and spin Pulley Feed MS to clockwise
■Cleaning card after the cleaning procedure

2.4 Coin Hopper
1) Cleaning tools
- Air Spray, Lubricant, Cotton Swab, Gloves, Wiper
2) Cleaning place
(1) Coin Exit Sensor (Light Guide)
- Dust and debris on the coin exit sensor may cause interruption of dispensing the Coin.
(2) Disk and main body
- May cause interruption of dispensing the Coin without cleaning dust and debris.
3) Disassembling and cleaning
(1) Pull the marking part with your hand, and disassemble the Hook.

(2) Pick up and take out the Coin Stacker
‘- Disassemble the main body from the Coin Stacker.
‘- Pull out the Connector before cleaning the main body.
(3) Clean dust and debris inside of Compact Hopper Disk.
‘- Take apart Disk and the floor part, and clean dust and debris using wiper.
(4) Clean Light Guide of Coin Exit.
●PM period: Every 50,000~100,000 Coins dispensed
▶After cleaning, assemble in reverse direction
and test operation of Hopper.
