What’s in the box
Your GEO HUB comes
complete with:
2.5" HDD holder (optional)
GEO HUB
Fitting the holder and stand
Follow these simple steps to
assemble your GEO HUB:

Lay GEO HUB faced down on a
flat, clean, non-abrasive surface
(e.g. desk). Remove cover,
as shown above.
Place holder over 2 screw holes on
back. Tighten screws with cross-head
screwdriver.

Once securely affixed,
slide into stand and screw on.
Replace cover removed in illustration

HDD section.
Disconnect HDD from ports and
unscrew from fixed position.

Changing a 2.5” Hard Disk Drive
Your GEO HUB is supplied with a removable Hard Drive,
but for users who want to remove it and insert another
HDD, please follow the steps shown below.
Important This is for fitting standard 2.5” HDD with
SATA 3 interface connector.

USING YOUR GEO HUB FOR THE FIRST TIME
Turning on the device
Note: This GEO HUB has been
preinstalled with Windows. You will
need to perform an initial setup
before the GEO HUB can be used.
1 Connect power cable to DC-In
port and plug into your mains
power supply;
2 Press and hold the Power button
for 2 seconds to turn
your GEO HUB on.
The GEO logo followed
by the Windows start-up
screen will appear;
3 The device is now ready
for use.
Turning off the device
You can turn off the device in
two ways:
1 Press and hold the Power button
for a minimum of 4 seconds;
2 Select the Windows menu,
then click the Power option.
Select to Shutdown.

Connecting to a network:
1Select the Wi-Fi icon in the
notification area, in the lower-right
corner of the screen, to view the
available Wi-Fi hotspots;
2 Select an available network from
the list and select Connect;
3 Input the password, if necessary,
then select Connect to begin an
internet connection.

1Insert 1 x AA battery into the
compartment on the back of the
keyboard and 2 x AAA batteries
into the back of mouse;
2Slide the switch on back of the
keyboard and mouse to ON
position, LED will light red for
a few seconds;

photos all from one central location.

GETTING STARTED
Display the Start menu: Select the Start button in the lower-left corner
of the taskbar and easily find your favourite Apps, settings and files.
Access Cortana: Get things done with your very own digital assistant.
To get started, type a question in the search box, or select the
microphone icon and talk to Cortana.
Search: In the taskbar search box, begin typing the name of an App,
setting, file or internet topic.
Browse the web: Microsoft Edge gives you new ways to find stuff,
manage your tabs, read e-books and write on the web. To get going,
select Microsoft Edge on the Windows taskbar.
Shut down your computer: Select the Start button, select the power
icon, then select shut down.
Note: Windows features screen may vary from image shown above.
3Insert Nano Receiver into a USB
port on your GEO HUB;
4Wait 3-5 seconds, the keyboard
and mouse will now connect and
be ready to use.

Red LED: Power On
Green LED: Caps Lock
Red LED blinking: Batteries low
The keyboard and mouse will power
down when not in use. Once you start
typing, the keyboard will turn on.
To save battery power turn off your
mouse and keyboard when not in use.

Tactus Limited warrants to the end
user that this product will be free
from defects in materials and
workmanship, in the course of
normal use for a period of 12 months
(1 year) from the date of purchase.
This warranty covers breakdowns due
to manufacturing or design faults.
