GEOCHRON Digital Atlas 4K User manual

Step 1: Open the remote,
remove the dongle, and in-
stall it into the Geochron’s
USB port. Install batteries in
the remote.
Step 2: Connect the in-
cluded HDMI cable to
your display’s 4K HDMI
port. We recommend
HDMI port #1.
Step 3: The Atlas is
designed to hang
from the HDMI cable.
Do not mount or tape
the Atlas to the TV, or
it may overheat.

Step 4: Plug in the included power supply. Less than 3A USB
power will damage the Atlas and the TV’s USB port (uncommon).
Step 5: Turn ON the TV first. The TV needs to be on to communi-
cate the display resolution to the Atlas when the Atlas turns on.
Step 6: Press the black button to power ON.
The indicator light will turn RED to BLUE.
Step 7: The Atlas will boot to an active mapset. Press the MENU
button to set Time Zone (Menu >Time), WiFI (Menu > Inter-
net), and many other options.
Pro tip: To turn OFF the Atlas display, use the power button on
the remote, and select SLEEP. If you select SHUTDOWN, you’ll
have to turn the Atlas ON with the POWER button.

Using the remote, add layers in the menu!
Each layer can be adjusted for transparency
compared to other map features.

Warranty Statement
This Limited Warranty applies to the physical goods of the Geochron Digital, and
only for physical goods, purchased from Geochron LLC or its authorized distrib-
utors. This warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under nor-
mal use during the warranty period of one year from purchase.
During the Warranty period of 1 year, Geochron LLC will repair or replace, at no
charge, products or parts of the product that prove defective because of improp-
er material, workmanship, or programming explicitly related to the Geochron
Digital under normal use. It does not include shipping, or abuse.
This Limited Warranty extends to the GD programming, hardware, layers, and
configuration provided at the point of sale. Modifications to any of it, including
requisitioning this computer for any other purpose, will void the warranty.
Exclusions: This Limited Warranty ends at your HDMI port. There is no warran-
ty or support for the appliance upon which GD is displayed.

An icon of American ingenuity since it’s invention in 1964, the Geochron was the
first mechanical GEOgraphical CHRONometer to show the event of horizon of
the Sun on Earth in real time, and all 24 time zones simultaneously. The ma-
chine clocks are still built in the foothills of Mt. Hood in Oregon (really), and
where this Digital 4k is created.
