About this guide
We’ve written this manual to help you get the most from your
hand blender. Please keep hold of it for future reference.
THIS PRODUCT WAS DESIGNED AND MANUFACTURED TO
MEET STRICT QUALITY AND SAFETY STANDARDS. THERE ARE,
HOWEVER, SOME OPERATION PRECAUTIONS YOU SHOULD
BE AWARE OF.
1. Read all warnings & instructions in this manual to ensure you
get the best out of your product.
2. For household use only.
3. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied persons in
order to avoid hazard.
4. This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the
appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
5. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they
understand the hazards involved.
6. Children shall not play with the appliance.
7. Always disconnect the blender from the supply if it is left
unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
8. Before connecting the hand blender to the power, check the
voltage shown on the appliance corresponds with the voltage
in your home. If it doesn’t contact your local store.
9. Do not use if the appliance, cord or plug is damaged.
10. The cord shouldn’t hang over the edge of a table or counter,
or touch a hot surface.
11. Remove all packaging prior to use. Inspect the product for

any damage before use. If damage is found, notify ASDA to
exchange the product.
12. Keep awayfrom harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.
13. Do not use attachments not recommended by the
manufacturer.
14. Don’t use the blender for anything other than its intended
use.

24. Do not continuouslyoperate for more than 60seconds at a
time as this can overheat the motor. Always allow the motor
to coolto roomtemperature before continuing to use.
25. Do not operate when the container is empty, as this can cause
damage.
26. Do not blend overlyhard ingredients as these won’t blend.
27. This blender is a Class II or double insulated electrical
appliance. It does not require a safety connection to electrical
earth.
28. Unplug the blender from the outlet when it is not in use,
before putting on or taking off parts, before moving the
appliance or adding the food and before cleaning.

How to…
…assemble your hand blender
1. Wash the blender shaft in warm, soapy
water, being careful of the blades.
It’s important to never wash the blender
body as this houses electrical components,
like the motor.
2. Align the arrow symbol on top of the shaft
with the on the blender body. Then push
the two sections together and rotate the
blender shaft clockwise so the arrow aligns
with the on the blender shaft.
The blender is now fully assembled and ready
for use.
To take the blender apart, simply reverse the
assembly procedure (the blender should not
be taken apart when blending or plugged in).

How to…
…use your hand blender
This blender can be used for uids (e.g. dairy products, sauces, fruit juices, soups,
drinks and shakes), soft ingredients (e.g. pancake batter and mayonnaise), or puréeing
cooked foods (e.g. for making baby food).
1. Slot the plug into the wall socket and switch
the power on.
2. Fill a jug (not included) with the food
requiring blending. Ensure you do not
exceed the maximum level marked on
the jug.
3. Immerse the blade and shaft section of the
blender fully into the ingredients in the jug.
Do not submerge any part of the motor
housing - only the stainless steel shaft and
blade should be in contact with the food.

4. Turn on the blender by pressing and
holding either of the power buttons on the
main body of the blender.
To turn off the blender simply remove your
nger from the power button. Blend the
ingredients by moving the blender up and
down slowly or in a circular motion slowly.
NOTE: For a slightly faster speed, use the
power II button.
How to…
…clean your hand blender
Make sure you aren’t pressing the hand blender power buttons and ensure the blender
is disconnected from the power.
1. Carefully remove the blender shaft from the body – beware of the sharp blade.
2. Wash the shaft in warm, soapy water and rinse under a hot tap.
3. The blender body can only be wiped with a damp cloth.
4. Dry all parts thoroughly before storing.
The blender blade is not dishwasher safe.
Please note
Remember to only run the blender continuously for a maximum of 60 seconds
at a time. If the blender body becomes hot, turn off and allow it to cool to room
temperature.

How to…
…change the fuse
1. Only use a 3 amp fuse.
2. To change the fuse, place a screwdriver
into the recess of the plug cover and pull
the fuse holder upward until it’s free.
3. Slide the fuse out and pop in the
replacement.
4. Slot the fuse holder back into the recess
and push down until it locks into place.
