About this guide
We’re here to help you get the most from your mini chopper, so
please keep hold of this manual for future use.
THIS PRODUCT WAS DESIGNED AND MANUFACTURED TO
MEET STRICT QUALITY AND SAFETY STANDARDS. THERE
ARE, HOWEVER, SOME OPERATION PRECAUTIONS YOU
SHOULD BE AWARE OF.
1. Read all warnings & instructions in this manual to ensure
you get the best out of your product.
2. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied
persons in order to avoid hazard.
3. Do not use if the appliance, cord or plug is damaged.
4. Before connecting the mini chopper to the power, check
the voltage shown on the appliance corresponds with the
voltage for the mains supply of the country you are in. If
it doesn’t, contact your local store.
5. To avoid re, electric shock, or injury, never immerse the
mini chopper, cord, or plug in water or liquid. Do not use
with wet hands.
6. Please don’t dismantle. If a fault occurs, have the mini
chopper inspected in a qualied repair shop or return to
us at ASDA.
7. Remove all packaging prior to use. Inspect the product
for any damage before use. If damage is found, notify
ASDA to exchange the product.
8. This appliance is only suitable for domestic use and it is
not designed for commercial purposes.
9. This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the
appliance and its cord out of reach of children.

10. This appliance can be used by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
11. Children shall not play with the appliance.
12. Always place on a rm, level surface, out of reach of
children.
13. The cord shouldn’t hang over the edge of a table or
counter, or touch a hot surface.
14. Do not use the mini chopper for anything other than its
intended use.
15. Do not use attachments not recommended by the
manufacturer.
16. Do not continuously operate for more than 1 minute
(4 consecutive pulses of 15 seconds each) as this can
overheat the motor. Always allow the motor to cool to
room temperature before continuing to use (at least
2 minutes).
17. Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is
left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or
cleaning.
18. Never leave unattended when in use.
19. Switch off the appliance and disconnect from the supply
before changing accessories or approaching parts that
move in use.
20. Do not operate when the bowl is empty, as this could
lead to damage.
21. Care is needed when handling sharp cutting blades,
emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
22. Keep away from harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or
solvents.
23. Keep ngers, hair, clothing and utensils away from all
moving parts when the mini chopper is plugged in.
24. Never use with boiling or extremely hot liquids.
25. Avoid overlling the bowl.
26. If using to prepare food for babies or elderly, ensure the
bowl, lid and blade are cleaned thoroughly.
27. The bowl, lid and blade are dishwasher safe, top rack
only.

28. Do not use the chopper to chop ingredients that are very
hard.
29. Regarding the instructions for cleaning surfaces in contact
with food, please refer to chapter “How to disassemble &
clean your mini chopper”.
30. WARNING! Misuse may lead to injury.
31. Environmental information: If at anytime in the future you
should need to dispose of this product, please note that,
in the UK, waste electrical products/batteries should not
be disposed of with household waste.
SAFETY INFORMATION
The steel blade is very sharp. Handle this with caution and
keep ngers clear of the edges. For your safety, this mini
chopper has been tted with a safety interlock mechanism
and so will not operate unless correctly assembled. Please
ensure the bowl has been pushed rmly onto the base
assembly and the plastic lid slots in correctly over the blade
assembly.

How to…
…assemble and use your mini chopper
Before use, remove all packaging and wash all items apart from the base in warm
soapy water. Dry thoroughly before use.
IMPORTANT: Various spices such as cloves, dill or cumin seeds can have an adverse
effect on the bowl and should not be chopped. Before chopping nuts or bread crumbs
etc., ensure that both the food and the blade, bowl and lid are thoroughly dry. Best
results are obtained from chopping small quantities at a time into small pieces. If you
are preparing baby food always check that all the ingredients are thoroughly chopped
before feeding. Beware of over processing some ingredients. Stop and check the
consistency frequently. To ensure even processing, stop and scrape down any food
from the sides of the bowl with a plastic spatula.
1. Slot the bowl onto the base section and
align the tabs on the bottom of the bowl
with the bowl locking slots on the base (1).
Turn the bowl clockwise to lock onto the
base (2).
2. Slot the blade over the drive shaft. You may
need to rotate the blade to get it to t correctly.
Then place the ingredients you wish to chop into
the bowl.
CAUTION: The blade is very sharp, handle with care.

3. Place the lid on top of the bowl.
Align the arrow on the lid with the
corner of the chopper body. Turn
the lid clockwise to lock in place.
The arrow on the lid will align
with the arrow on the motor unit.
4. Slot the plug on the mini chopper into
a wall socket and turn the power on.
5. Press the power button on the top of the base to
start the mini chopper. Release the power button
to turn the mini chopper off.
IMPORTANT: Avoid running the motor
continuously for more than 15 seconds without a
rest, with a maximum running time of 1 minute.
Then leave the chopper for at least 2 minutes for
the machine to cool down to room temperature.

3. Remove the bowl by turning anticlockwise (1).
Pull the bowl away at a slight angle to remove (2).
1. Remove the lid by turning anticlockwise (1) and
pulling away from the bowl (2).

…disassemble & clean your mini chopper
2. Remove the blade by pulling it upwards.
CAUTION: The blade is very sharp, handle
with care when removing.
Please note
Ensure the mini chopper is disconnected from the mains supply before disassembling
and cleaning.

4. Wash the bowl, lid and blade in warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly.
Alternatively place on the top rack in the dishwasher.
5. Wipe the main base with a damp cloth only.
6. Store the mini chopper fully assembled to protect the blade.
7. Some food may discolour the bowl. This is natural and will not harm the bowl or
affect the avour of any food placed in it. Rub the bowl with a cloth dipped in
vegetable oil to remove any discolouration.
How to…
…change the fuse
1. Only use a 3 amp fuse.
2. To change the fuse, place a screwdriver into the recess of the plug cover and pull
the fuse holder upward until it’s free.
3. Slide the fuse out and pop in the replacement.
4. Slot the fuse holder back into the recess and push down until it locks into place.
