MLX i3 (Cube) Dome for the first time.
Reading the complete instruction manual is essential for its proper and safe use and
will help you to operate the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome to your complete
satisfaction. Our MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube)Dome is very robust and has a long
operating life when operated properly.
Read the instructions very carefully and operate the MLX iDome /
MLX i3 (Cube) Dome only in accordance with the intended use as described
in the instruction manual.
This is the only way to protect your customers and yourself from dangers
resulting from improper use.

You must always observe basic safety precautions, including the following,
when operating electrical products, especially when children are nearby:

FOR THE FIRST TIME.

operator. If you ignore the safety information and safety instructions, you
will endanger your health and life and as the health and life of your
clients.
MAKE SURE THAT THIS MANUAL IS AVAILABLE TO ANYONE USING
THE GHARIENI MLX iDOME / MLX i3 (CUBE) DOME AND MAKE SURE
THAT IT HAS BEEN READ AND UNDERSTOOD PRIOR TO USING THE
MLX iDOME / MLX i3 (CUBE) DOME.
➢This instruction manual is an integral part of the product and must be carefully
kept in a safe place to consult it throughout the equipment service life.

➢Before you dispose of a concept bed / old appliance, render it inoperative.
Unplug the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome and cut off the power cord
completely. Dispose of the power cord and the plug immediately.
Store this manual in a safe place so you can use it whenever it is
needed. Strictly observe the instructions to avoid damage to persons
and property.

1.3 Safety instructions
DANGER
To reduce the risk of electrocution
1. Non-compliance with the orders of this instruction manual
endangers the operator’s and customer’s health and life and / or
can damage the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome.
2. All electrical work to connect the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome
to the mains must be carried out by a qualified professional.
Do not modify the energy supply. The connection must be carried
out in accordance with the current local and legal regulations.
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
3. The mains voltage and the mains frequency must correspond to
the values indicated on the rating plate.
4. Do not make any changes or manipulations to the MLX iDome /
MLX i3 (Cube) Dome and/or its power supply (power cord and/or
power plug). In case of unauthorised changes or manipulations,
any warranty of the Gharieni Group GmbH is excluded.
5. Do not connect the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome to the
mains if the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome itself or the power
cable or the plug are visibly damaged. RISK OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK!
6. The power cord shall not be placed below the MLX iDome /
MLX i3 (Cube) Dome, except it is expressly permitted by Gharieni
Group GmbH. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
7. The power cord must not be placed close to the lifting columns
during connection or repositioning as it can be damaged while
operating the lifting columns. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
8. Never try to repair the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome yourself.
If the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome does not operate properly,
please contact Gharieni Group GmbH or the dealer you purchased
the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome at. Original spare parts
should be used only.
9. If the power cable and / or the plug are damaged, it must be
replaced by Gharieni Group GmbH or an authorised aftersales
service or a qualified professional only. Never try to repair or
replace the power cable and / or the plug yourself. RISK OF
ELECTRIC SHOCK!
10. Always unplug the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome if it is
not used for a longer period.

11. Always disconnect the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome
from the mains before cleaning and / or maintenance.

12. Never pull the power cord to unplug the MLX iDome /
MLX i3 (Cube) Dome. Always use the power plug itself to unplug
the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome. RISK OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK!
13. Never touch the power plug, the power switch, or other
electrical components with wet or damp hands. RISK OF
ELECTRIC SHOCK!
14. Do not place or store the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome
close to a source of liquid such as a bath, a shower, or a
washbasin. There is a danger that the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube)
Dome may meet splashed water. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
WARNING!
To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire, or injury to persons
1. Use only a properly secured safety socket with the appropriate
mains voltage. See technical data and rating plate.
2. The electric components must not meet water. RISK OF
ELECTRIC SHOCK!
3. Check all cables regularly and contact our Customer Service
Department when any cable is in improper condition. RISK OF
ELECTRIC SHOCK!
4. The MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome must not stand on the power
cord. Ensure that the cord is not damaged when moving the
MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome. Do not step on the cord.
Do not stretch the cord.
5. Always ensure that the power cord is not bent or squeezed during
installation.
6. Do not use any extension cords, multiple sockets, or adapters.

7. Do not open the housings of the electric control panels!
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
8. Liquids must not get into the electric control panels!
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
9. Do not use water or any other liquids while carrying out any
application. Do not spill water or any other liquids over, on or into
the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome. Should you spill any water,
immediately pull the mains plug and dry the MLX iDome /
MLX i3 (Cube) Dome thoroughly. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!

10. Never immerse any parts of the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome
in water. When cleaning the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome,
make sure that no water penetrates the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube)
Dome or its housing. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
11. Persons suffering from acute pain, venous disorders, low
blood pressure, inflammatory processes and other pathologies
which make heat-treatments or the positioning of the client
inappropriate must consult a qualified doctor before treatment.
12. Persons who are treated on the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube)
Dome must not be under the influence of intoxicating
substances (e.g. alcohol, drugs, or medicine).
13. When you switch on the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome using
the power switch, the large heat dome of the MLX iDome /
MLX i3 (Cube) Dome must be fully extended.
14. Operate or store the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome in a dry
environment only.
15. Close supervision is necessary if the MLX iDome /
MLX i3 (Cube) Dome is used by, on, or near children or invalids.
16. Use the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome only for the intended
use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments /
accessories not recommended by Gharieni Group GmbH.
17. Never operate the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome if it has a
damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been
damaged or if it has become wet. Return the MLX iDome /
MLX i3 (Cube) Dome to an authorised aftersales service for
examination and repair.
18. In case of defects of the concept bed, contact customer service
immediately. Use of the concept bed must be discontinued until
the problem has been solved to avoid further damage to property
and persons.
19. Regularly remove any dust build-up from the mains plug,
the safety socket, and all electrical plug connections, e.g. with a
commercially available vacuum cleaner. RISK OF FIRE!
20. Keep the power cord away from heated surfaces.
21. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
22. Do not use the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome outdoors.
23. Do not allow any unauthorised person to operate the MLX iDome /
MLX i3 (Cube) Dome!
24. Use the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome only on a level surface.
25. Do not place any objects or liquids on the MLX iDome /
MLX i3 (Cube) Dome. The MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome as
well as the material can be damaged thereby. RISK OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK! RISK OF DAMAGE!

26. Any repairs and maintenance work must be carried out by qualified
professionals authorised by the Gharieni Group GmbH only! RISK
OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! RISK OF FIRE!
27. Do not use a steam cleaner for cleaning. RISK OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK!
28. Never rest or stand on any part of the lying surface or of the
supporting structure of the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome.
Do not exert strong physical forces on these components; otherwise
you can damage the supporting structure permanently. RISK OF
TIPPING! RISK OF BREAKAGE! RISK OF INJURY!
29. There must be no persons, body parts, animals or objects between
the base and the upper structure when adjusting the upper structure
RISK OF CRUSHING!
30. Do not use the supporting structure as a footrest. RISK OF
CRUSHING!
31. The MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome must never be used to
carry or transport persons or heavy loads. RISK OF INJURY! RISK
OF DAMAGE!
32. While unpacking, the packaging materials should be kept away
from children and pets. RISK OF INJURY! CHOKING HAZARD!
33. Always keep children and pets away from the MLX iDome /
MLX i3 (Cube) Dome.
34. Children must not play with the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome
or its single components.
35. The MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome is not intended to be
operated by persons with reduced physical, sensory, and mental
capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge, unless they are
supervised or instructed concerning the use of the MLX iDome /
MLX i3 (Cube) Dome and do understand the danger resulting
thereof.
NOTICE!
1. For safety reasons, the height adjustment with the lifting columns
and the electrical closing of the heat domes of the MLX iDome /
MLX i3 (Cube) Dome Electric with the actuators only takes place as
long as you press one of the buttons of the switches integrated in
the side of the upper frame. When released, the movement is
stopped immediately. Only MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome
Electric!
2. The heat domes must be opened (lifted) only after they have been
pushed together. The large heat dome must press the contact
switch at the foot end of the MLX iDome / MLX i3 (Cube) Dome.
